I think most folks know that if you get something free you're getting what you pay for...The very reason for online DVD rental is that you don't have to go to the store. It's the convenience, selection and value.Blockbuster is probably doing this to promote it's new "Total Access" feature, which allows people to exchange DVD's received in the mail for DVD's in a Blockbuster store.

Interesting and odd thing they are doing. I mean, would netflix get mad if I rented a DVD from them, took it to blockbuster and traded it for another movie I wanted to see? I mean, would Blockbuster video keep the DVD and when I bring theirs back, give it back to me or just keep it? ::ponders::
But I do wonder how they will make money from this? I mean with a month free then another 2 weeks free with total access, I feel like I am ripping them off at less than 20 bucks a month that I have yet to be charged.
