AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.2.1

AMD released the latest version of Radeon Software Crimson Edition. Version 16.2.1 is marked "non-WHQL" and hence should be a beta. The driver comes with a CrossFireX profile for "Far Cry Primal," along with a variety of game-specific bug fixes for "Fallout 4," and "Rise of the Tomb Raider." It also fixes an issue of choppy display on systems with both FreeSync and CrossFire being enabled. Grab the drivers from the links below.

I'm three versions behind, mainly because I keep seeing "OH GOD BSOD OH LORD IN HEAVEN" every time they release a Crimson driver.

I'll wait 24 hours, and if nobody screams bloody murder, I may actually install this one.

And they still don't support GPU in AMD E-450 APU. And you know what's even worse? Catalyst ITSELF offered update so I said, wow, finally they released support. Just for installer to fail in the exact same miserable way as before. What the fuck AMD, can't you fucking do checks before someone downloads god damn 300MB big package that doesn't fucking work in the end? Like, daaaaaamn.

You might have a hardware issue, I have been installing new drivers on every release and have never ever seen such behaviour.

I get the same thing on mine, a notice alerting me to a new driver package and it wont install, it must be an issue with that APU.

Installed last night because I happened to notice it available. Tried it and I noticed it fixed an issue I was having in League with CFX enabled (texture glitch). Now I don't have to disable it to play that one game. Have not tested it on anything else yet though but so far I am happy.

Because it's bullshit. It's a perfectly functional laptop f**ked up by absolutely broken drivers. If they say they support HD6000 series, f**king support E-450 as well because it has a HD6320 GPU. I don't care how old or weak it is, they say HD6000 series are supported and this is HD6000 series. So get shit fixed AMD. And don't alert users about update if the GPU in question is not even supported. It's like they started working with software just last year and they have no clue what they are even doing.

I had to put my 7850k with a r7 240 on legacy drivers..
I have a 4k tv and these absolute garbage Crimson drivers keep causing a conflict with Media center....
The only way to set the resolution is in windows now and I had to go into additional options and allow 1080p @60fps so I could then go into media center and set it to 1080p so tv looked normal but it occasionally causes a glitch breaking HDCP and then the screen turns green or I get a split screen like its trying to do 3D...
I tried everything to fix it but the only thing that works is deleting the Junk Ass Crimson drivers and going to an older driver that allows you to pick your resolutions..
And in my gaming PC I still lose audio after it sleeps.

Using "GPU Caps Viewer" tool on my old Radeon HD 5770M, OpenCL CPU version is available.
