GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Pictured

A low-resolution picture of GIGABYTE's upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming graphics card made it to the web, revealing the company's latest WindForce 3X cooling solution. The card doesn't appear to be as long as some of the older WindForce 3X based graphics cards from the company, but is taller. It features three ≥100 mm fans, compacted in a way that makes the two side fans overlap the middle fan, which is slightly receded into the heatsink, and suspended along an outwardly-static hub (the fan still blows inwards). The static hub features four LED-acrylic strips that make an "X." Not much else is known about the card. Things should clear up by the 27th, though.

This is the card i was looking forward to and its either going to be this card or whatever Asus comes out with.

Depends on temps noise clock speeds and so on but its going to be either this card or the one from Asus.

Looking forward to seeing better pictures of this card at Computex 2016.

well... that EVGA looks the part
haven't liked a card so much since the triple slot Asus GTX680

it has a hint of Bioshock Infinite, don't you find ? A soft and pleasant Steampunkish touch ... I love it

Are you gonna do that again? Or this round go for the Classified or similar? Frankly that's what I am curious about getting myself or waiting till the 1080ti and doing the same thing.

Nah, I wouldn't buy a Kingpin again. Great card but built for people with more skill than me. I'll buy whatever can be water-cooled and overclocked, preferably with dual BIOS. I'm in no rush to buy a 1080 anyway.

Umm, ok make a thread about it instead of posting it in the completely wrong thread?

I'm sure I was reading about train stations in a Railway Enthusiast Forum and nem posted some AMD stuff there too. Guy's a fucking joke.

That EVGA-design is really nice. I love it. So beautiful that I almost would have to cry when replacing the cooler with a water cooling solution. ;)

But I've a question: Why would it be bad to have a single 8 pin-port?

Yeah, unrelated PR hype and slides vs an actual video card being released. Sure, things are changing ;)

I've heard too many bad Gigabyte stories lately that would really prevent me from a purchase :(

I hope this one is back to length of the gtx670 card. That was a great cooler on that card and would fit in most cases unlike last few that were to long.
