EK Water Blocks Intros AM4 Monoblock for MSI X370 XPower Gaming Titanium

EK Water Blocks, the Slovenia-based premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer is proving its market leadership once again by releasing a new AM4 socket based monoblock tailor made for the MSI X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium motherboard. The EK-FB MSI X370 XPower RGB Monoblock has an integrated 4-pin RGB LED strip which makes it compatible with MSI Mystic Light Sync, thus offering a full lighting customization experience.

This is a complete all-in-one (CPU and motherboard) liquid cooling solution for the new AMD X370 Chipset AM4 socket based MSI X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium high-end motherboard that supports the latest generation of AMD Ryzen and 7th Generation A-series/Athlon processors.
Designed and engineered in cooperation with MSI, this monoblock uses award-winning EK-Supremacy EVO cooling engine to ensure best possible CPU cooling. This water block directly cools AMD AM4 socket type CPU, as well as the power regulation (MOSFET) module. Liquid flows directly over all critical areas, providing the enthusiasts with a great solution for high and stable overclocks. Like with every EK monoblock, EK-FB MSI X370 XPower RGB features high flow design and this monoblock can be easily used with the system using a weaker water pump as well.

This AM4 socket based monoblock also comes with a new redesigned cold plate. The new design ensures that the monoblock has better mechanical contact with the IHS of AMD AM4 socket based processors, thus enabling better thermal transfer.

The base of the monoblock is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality acrylic glass material. The nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs are pre-installed and allow for easy installation.

The monoblock is equipped with a 4-pin RGB LED strip that connects to the motherboard's 4-pin LED header or it can be connected to any other 4-pin LED controller. The LED strip cover can easily be removed for adjusting the cable orientation or replacing the LED strip with a custom solution as well.

MSRP: 119.95€. For more information, visit the product page.

When is EK going to come out with something new? Everyone else is? I feel that Fanboyism is keeping them alive.

I dont know. Care to lead the charge and engineer a new type of waterblock thats entirely of a new design and massively different then the older waterblocks that we see here so that the industry can move a step forward?

I could actually, but I wouldn't get paid and I'll let the other companies do that like

Who's saying only waterblocks? What real "new" product have they come up with since 2014? Appart from the Predator flop? None really, just new versions of the same old stuff they have. They sponsored me for a build back in early 2015, but if you look at it, the supremacy evo was release summer 2014. They have had no real "new" product since.

They're new line of aluminium stuff is new, but is not really targetted at the same class of people. On top of that, it performs on par or worst than high end air/high end AIO while being more expensive. I don't really call that a step forward.

fanboyism is working for them currently and that's great for them, I just wish they'd come up with something new.

I could, but, I don't want to invest that kind of time without being paid in advance. But we're digressing ;)

PS. I've designed different tops, that I've successfully 3D printed for older blocks to improve their performance. Like the Swiftech Apogee HD.

Not really.... youre saying you want change, and you could change, but you dont want to be the one that implements that change when we have something that already works.

Im sorry, remind me what was your original argument again?? I swear you said you wanted something different?

You're exactly right, I do want to see change, but I'm not currently in the market for more watercooling gear. Besides, I have not bought any watercooling gear since early 2015, I get all my stuff sponsored.

If I actually had finished my sponsored builds and reviews, I might just jump on that opportunity, but time is something I don't have extra right now to do this. Also, if I would do it, it wouldn't be for EK.

then stop crying and just deal with it. Or even better... you said you had a 3D printer.. make your own custom waterblocks with materials and designs that you want. Hell, i would do the same if i had access to such equipment.

I'm not crying, I'm just stating facts here. "EK has not release a "new" product since 2014" (except the predator flop). "new" being something different than what their line-up has.

Also, I already said I did make my own waterblock tops.

You don't have to agree with me on my opinion about EK, but you don't need to blame me for their lack of new products ;)
