MSI Announces the Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset

MSI is extremely proud to launch the Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset as the latest addition to its Gaming Gear line of peripherals. The Immerse GH70 is a gorgeous gaming headset that features driver unit with Hi-Res certification for incredibly detailed sound quality and virtual 7.1 audio for precise positioning. Fitting in seamlessly with the latest MSI high-end gaming products, Mystic Light RGB delivers brilliant lighting effects to let gamers light up the battlefield in the style of their choice.

Using 50 mm Neodymium driver units with Hi-Res certification, the Immerse GH70 provides highly detailed and crystal clear sound. Whether you're trying to hear the enemy's slightest movements or just looking to enjoy your favorite music in all its glory. Virtual 7.1 channel surround sound puts you right in the middle of the action and creates a 360 degrees soundscape where accurate positional audio allows you to pinpoint your opponent's exact location.
MSI Mystic Light RGB
Including Mystic Light RGB, the Immerse GH70 allows gamers to customize their appearance by choosing from millions of colors and multiple effects using MSI's exclusive Mystic Light software. Using Mystic Light Sync you can easily synchronize colors and effects with other RGB components and peripherals for a stunning display.

Comfortable Ergonomic Design
Comfort is key when it comes to gaming for hours on end. Using ergonomic design, the flexible headband and soft ear pads ensure a comfortable fit that distributes the weight of the headset evenly, while still fully enclosing the ears to isolate distracting noises. Two sets of ear pads are included to provide a choice between smooth leather or soft cloth, or to simply allow gamers to switch to a fresh pair.
Available mid-July, 2017.

Please explain to me the point of RGB on headset. PLEASE.

Do you need a mirror in front of yourself?

Or its designed as an epilepsy test when you turn on your RGB:
Mouse
Ram
Mobo
GPU
Case
Fans
Mouse MAT
Chair
PSU
Keyboard

All together and start a rave?

If all the snowflakes looked the same, how could you tell which ones are special and unique? The snow is getting deep, and for each snowflake to look special, you need at least the 16.7 million colors that RGB makes available. Soon even that won't be enough.

How does one hear 7.1 sound on crappy stereo headsets without even any HRTF hardware processor or anything??

This kind of deceiving marketing practice should be banned by law. Seriously.
