Numerous sources suggest that the Operating System will be name Windows Server 2007 or 2008, depending on its release date. The Longhorn server beta program will be launching within the next few weeks. Microsoft is allowing public preregistration for beta testing of the upcomming "longhorn" server operating system. While were at it, lets precariously balance some papers above this here gas stove and leave it for a while to see what happens...

I would have got a free licanse for 03 Server if I would have participated in the SP alpha and beta tests. But upon the third call to see what was going on I told them to F off as I didn't have time.
I have the space, and the hardware. If it can will accelerate the database and improve upon my hacked multi user version of XP Pro. More power to them.
Hey, it's Microsoft & yes, I trust them to a good extent, so I enabled that stuff for this!
Now, it's "off to the races" ('hurry up & wait' is more like it, lol) to wait for notice of it releasing...
:)
* Steevo: That is actually GOOD news that the possibility of getting this OS release free may come out of it... I truly CAN deal w/ that!

I know a guy at ESPN doing network admin, same thing as me, and he has access to about the same number of systems, but with less priviages to do things. I run F@H on all the machines that can handle it. It all depends on what you can do.
