NVIDIA Releases GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 431.18

NVIDIA released their latest driver package version, updating the software number up to 431.18. The new hotfix driver builds upon the previous 430.86 release, already fixed upon by another, previous hotfix driver 430.97.

This new release fixes BSODs on hibernation wake-up for ASUS' ASUS GL703GS/Asus GL502VML notebooks; game crashes or TDR on Shadow of the Tomb Raider when launching the game on Pascal GPUs; Shadow of the Tomb Raider's benchmark exiting abruptly should ray tracing be enabled; and flickering issues on Grand Theft Auto V when MSAA is enabled. I don't care if Navi is a little slower, I am going all red team July 7th, can't wait!!! 1440p high frefresh and freesync for life!!!

You might as well. In the Linux space nVidia actually dropped proprietary support for some
of their older cards altogether. Since FOSS drivers for nVidia are no match
for AMD ( or even Intel ) FOSS drivers, that pretty much pushes them out
of the Linux environment.

So far your options remain open with the "red team".

I'm an AMD fanboy? neat, I guess my last 4 builds were all Nvidia gpu but I'm still an AMD fanboy lol
