MSI President and CEO Sheng-Chang Chiang Has Died

MSI President and CEO Sheng-Chang Chiang has died, he was 56. The Taiwanese press reports that he died from falling from a building, causing head injury, although the circumstances behind the fall are unknown and subject of a Police investigation. Sheng-Chang Chiang took over MSI as recently as January 2019, and is regarded in the industry as the man who scripted the company's turnaround in the desktop computing product segments, as head of the Desktop Computing business at MSI, under the Gaming brand of motherboards and graphics cards. Our most sincere respects and condolences go out to the family of Sheng-Chang Chiang and MSI.

Woah, that's insane, just saw him last year, clearly he still have great passion in PC hardware.
RIP, hopefully the next CEO will be just as worthy.

Sad news. He looked like a very nice person plus the company has clearly improved since he took over, especially in the Motherboards division.

Rest in Peace Sir. Msi is my favorite brand for gpu since 980 Ti. May his successor brings improvement to the company, or at least as good as him.

This is devastating to the gaming community. His person was the first CEO to take gpu cooling into the spotlight for aftermarket heatsinks to enter mainstream market. This whole high performance out of the box guarantee of satisfaction was his idea. Before his foray into gpu gaming market, each oem had its stray pocket of spare parts that didn't have the same elegance. Thank him for making an Arctic silencer for every gpu. Yes, it was a thing back then.
