NVIDIA Partners Bundle Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War with RTX 3080 and RTX 3090

NVIDIA's add-in-board partners announced bundling Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War with the latest inventories of their GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards. The bundle includes not just the Standard Edition of the game, but also the Woods Operator Pack (a jungle operator pack), and the Confrontation Weapons Pack.

NVIDIA also revealed that in addition to its RTX real-time raytracing technology, Black Ops: Cold War will support the DLSS performance enhancement feature; and NVIDIA Reflex, a whole-system latency reduction feature that should help with the game's competitive online multiplayer. The bundle will be limited to select markets, and through participating retailers.

I played the public beta of cold war and it was terrible. black 2 and black ops 3 were fun, cold war is just completely boring and not innovative at all.

With current markup you could probably buy 3 copies of CoD.

When you get your priorities right, there are no cards to buy but hey, here's a new bundle.

I wonder if this is because the Watch Dogs launch has been such a shitshow?

A pointless promotion if nobody can get the cards... They're putting a lot of effort into pretending their stock isn't a dumpster fire.

Folks that order these cards and get this bundle, they're going to get a box in the mail that only contains a code for the game and a "We're sorry." note from Nvidia stating that they hope you enjoy this new game while your GPU will take an extra 6-8 weeks to ship due to "high demand".

Better to bundle COD with a 2TB SSD.

They wont be able to use the codes anyway, since they're locked to the hardware they come with. By the time the cards get shipped, there will be another promotion, and these codes won't be valid anymore.

Now that I have a 3080, a 3090 in the mail and got a 3070 yesterday, I'm honestly ready for the 4000 series.

The 3000 series wins on price, but I'm not completely amazed by performance yet.

Certain codes can be used right away. It's only the previous 1 year GeForce Now code that requires you to redeem it in the GeForce Experience software. The Watchdogs Legion code can get redeemed on redeem.nvidia.com which will then generate a code for it to be used on UPlay.

I would believe this BLOPS5 one will need to be done on redeem.nvidia.com, then the next code used in Battle.net.

This still applies. Nvidia has been doing this for a couple of years now, to prevent these codes being sold for profit on ebay and so on.

That may apply for the cards sold directly by NVIDIA, but for EVGA they will provide the code on their promo page (I linked in a previous reply) and you can use it in GeForce Experience (for GeForce Now) and on redeem.nvidia.com/ (for Watchdogs: Legion). No need to run a software tool to do a check (except technically for GeForce Now since you need it from the driver). I've also confirmed that Gigabyte includes the codes packaged in the box.

not sure about this gen, but last gen was still the case, the code sent is an nvidia proprietary, and only works via Geforce Experience and redeem.nvidia.com/ (which actually made me download Geforce Experience anyway), thats how I got Control and Wolfenstein Youngblood. It would have not worked if I still had my GTX 1080, believe me I tried.
AMD does the same, you go redeem a code on their website, and it makes you download a checker.

An by the way, we get our codes digitally via email, so there's no other way.

Bummer just got my Tuff 3080 Wednesday night on Newegg, it came with Watch Dogs Legion, I would much rather have had Black Ops.

Pointless bundle, it's not like they struggle to sell every card.

And AMD still haven't turned up with their paper tigers too.

lol since when is COD known for their innovation? It's basically like FIFA at this point. You just have to have the newest one although it's exactly the same. They kind of killed this model themselves with Warzone, so now they can only sell their shitty campaigns.

Btw. I don't know but maybe the power of COD can now improve some stocks for the cards? No? Ok..
