MSI Sells its 3 Millionth Gaming Monitor in 3 Years, Launches Limited Edition MSI Optix Monitor

MSI, the world's leading manufacturer for gaming hardware, has achieved the milestone of selling over 3 million monitors. The company began its foray into delivering top-notch visual experiences to gamers years ago with reliable PC hardware. However, it only stepped into the world of display technology with its first Gaming Monitor launch in 2016. Since then, MSI has re-affirmed its commitment to quality and delivered value to gamers time and again. And over the years, it has learned more about what gamers love and have focused on designing the best display products on the market. Today, it knows that this commitment hasn't gone unnoticed.

MSI is proud to announce a groundbreaking milestone for its Gaming Monitors - 3 million Gaming Monitors sold in just 3 years! As a relatively fresh entrant to display technology, this is an honor for the company that has spent considerable time and effort to really understand what gamers want out of a Gaming Monitor.
Counting Milestones: An Epic Quest for Excellence
A focused goal of delivering the ultimate gaming experience still drives MSI to achieve. A never-ending pursuit of perfection. However, it all began in November of 2016 with the launch of the MSI Optix G27C Gaming Monitor.
Something Distinct to Mark a Special Occasion: Limited Edition MSI Optix Monitor
At this historic moment, MSI would like to thank all its engineers and staff, its partners, and of course, gamers, without whom this milestone wouldn't have been possible. To take this celebration to the next level, it's painting the town red with a special edition MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD Gaming Monitor that features a gorgeous all-red look.

The Limited Edition Optix MAG274QRF-QD Gaming Monitor still boasts all the specifications and features that make it so very popular among gamers. It's just been hit with a dose of red to mark this occasion! 3 Million Monitors sold is an important milestone. No doubt about it. That said, it's also just the beginning of MSI's journey to equip every gamer in the world with the best in display technology. The team promises to listen to feedback from gamers to ensure that MSI designs more advanced and top-notch quality display products in the coming years.

3 million sold to retailers or sold to consumers? If it's the latter then that's mighty impressive for a brand that's not anyone's top lists.

Mostly combined. Also please define "not anyone's top lists", because if people were that picky then 1060 wouldn't be s recurring number 1 GPU choice and 1080p still wouldn't have remained mainstream monitor resolution after these long years. While this forum and other tech forums revolve heftily around enthusiasts barking at each other meaninglessly over subjective things that doesn't generalize the whole PC gaming market. People nowadays reach for "what can I afford?" over "which brand is the most luxurious? ". At least, it's happening on the lower end and that's where MSI, Iliyama and plenty of other rebranded underdogs step in.
