sounds like somethings wrong at a hardware level, bandwidth issue perhaps?

I mean the club3D dongle is a 120Hz adapter stuck at 60Hz, so somethings up

They've done that a few times it's an EDID parsing issue, unrelated as best I can tell. It appears the atmos issues only happen at hdmi 2.1 speeds so no idea...

I went back to 472.84 again, seems to be the smoothest driver for Unreal Engine in combination with my GTX 1070.

Do Nvidia prioritise adding games to its game ready thingy or fixing bugs, every driver seems to release with "known issues".

Game Ready for a Twitch streamer Dead by Cringelight game which is totally a disgrace to the Evil Dead movie, a broken Brazilian gunsouls title where you shoot big spiders - and if I might add, a game that was never going to come out due to people ramming in thousands of dollars of cash and dev backing out... oh and, I should mention the activity tracking crapware that garbage F2P Vampire game installs. How Game Ready.

Supposedly they can't replicate a lot of the current known issues...

...Which is really odd because for the atmos one, it literally happens all the time, even with just the TV. You do not even need a receiver. Just hdmi 2.1 speeds.

Theres two known bugs, both to do with HDMI 2.1 speeds. Somethings in common.

Well the speed is in common, but the adapter is literally just that they broke their prior fix for parsing the adapters wonky edid. I would know as I was the one who reported that bug to nvidia in the first place.
