TechPowerUp is Looking for a Content Proofreader
TechPowerUp is looking for a content proofreader with a strong command of U.S. English. This is a remote, part-time position, the job entails proofreading our written content, like reviews. The position is paid and open worldwide, expect 1-2 hours of work per day, Mon-Fri. Besides excellent language skills, it's a big plus if you understand the topics we're writing about. No need to get all the technical details, but it will help a lot if you know the difference between Mb and MB, NVMe and SATA, and can catch other similar mistakes, in addition to spelling and grammar. We're looking to fill this position by August.
Interested? Write to w1zzard@techpowerup.com. If you can, do tell us a bit about yourself, like age, location, time constraints, etc.

Think you guys do a good job as is
Clearly you've never been the water boy at a ladies wet tee shirt contest
The web says Definition of proofread : to read and mark corrections in (something, such as a proof). Editor : to prepare (something, such as literary material) for publication or public presentation. So which is it?
Which brings up this. I've been calling the proofreader an editor this whole time because I just assumed proofreader is another term for editor... until now that I looked it up. I'm sure someone could make the distinction more clear and what Wiz is actually looking for.
I actually wanted to be an English teacher when I was younger.. I should have followed through with it, but nearly half of a lifetime of poor choices awaited me instead lol.. yay.. An editor.
For instance lol..
I am not trying to single you out, it’s just an example :D
:D
I wouldn't worry about American english stuff we will figure out what your saying.
