TechPowerUp is Looking for a Content Proofreader

TechPowerUp is looking for a content proofreader with a strong command of U.S. English. This is a remote, part-time position, the job entails proofreading our written content, like reviews. The position is paid and open worldwide, expect 1-2 hours of work per day, Mon-Fri. Besides excellent language skills, it's a big plus if you understand the topics we're writing about. No need to get all the technical details, but it will help a lot if you know the difference between Mb and MB, NVMe and SATA, and can catch other similar mistakes, in addition to spelling and grammar. We're looking to fill this position by August.

Interested? Write to w1zzard@techpowerup.com. If you can, do tell us a bit about yourself, like age, location, time constraints, etc.

BlaezaSorry, was humour.
Constantly having to remind yourself that "humour" is wrong, and "nanometre" is wrong - you sure you want that job? Also, not sure of that but I think that the way you count floors in a building is wrong too.

There are many things I want, the job is definitely not one of them. Don't have the patience or commitment and would just end up with a monitor with a fist in it. You don't count floors when you just jump from the top. A laugh would be nice but I get penalised for that.

Oh, everyone knows it's metre and not "meter" just like it's humour and not humor, betwixt and not between, and so on.

It wasn't you, thank fuck for that! I could type like that if I put my mind to it, it's just I have so much going on in my non-jokey personal life, I'd be sacked in a week.

My comment was also humour with a bit of sarcasm but it's hard to express it through text.

Yeah, why not. I'd do it. People have often told me that I can detect misspelled words just by looking at them (they just look funny to me).

You should try rhyming Cockney

Kids -> Dustbin Lids
