I'm pretty sure it's not a TPU assessment. As far as I can tell, btarunr is simply cutting and pasting Biostar's press release. It's the manufacturer's choice if they want to fill their corporate communications with hyperbole.

Is it coincidence BioStar and BullShit both could be abbreviated with BS?

I have to call BS :D on that claim - No way they are leading anything except to the rock bottom of the scummy pickings at the bottom of the barrel.

How can it be "released" without even a word on pricing?

Does the meaning of the words mean so little these days?

X670E + early adopter tax + you have to ask = can't afford it anyway.

But also it can't be released considering all X670E/X670 boards are releasing on the 27th. So this is more of an announcement/reveal.

Why is Biostar, a budget brand i'd never want to purchase able to make a nice looking board when so many premium ones look like dog vomit?

someone in marketing is absolutely having a wank over this

Can't believe they'd put crap like that in a press release, to make websites say it like it was their own words

Making PC hardware "look good" is stupid as hell in the first place. You are paying extra money for stuff you shouldn't even be looking at and they are always charging extra for it. I wish there were value airflow cases without windows...

Performance/price over anything please. Green PCBs, unpainted/uncovered heatsinks ftw.

Are you a designer?
Looking good is important because it means that someone thinks about the product.
I am tired of the crap made by Asus, MSI, Acer and other "big" stupid hardware brands. :banghead:

No I am not a designer. Looking good costs money and I would prefer if my money went into FPS instead of paint of a part that is invisible.

I had decent experience with older BS motherboards (FM2+) so I might be giving this one a go if it's not outlandishly overpriced.

It's not about the paint. It's about the design, position and selection of the components. I completely disagree with your opinion - some brands save a lot of money and put crappy components and their products look like horse manure.

Tell me you haven't used a Biostar board in the last decade without directly saying it.

That is because the market is focused on looks. The only boards that get any attention are the RGB candy ones.

25% price increases to replace the loss from the 35% price padding of RGB? Dog Vomit is cheaper.

Good overall look and design will have to see how price is and have to compare it relative to some other boards as well, but overall it looks quite solid.

I will tell you secret. There is no difference between "budget" motherboard brands and "premium" motherboard brands. There is just budget motherboards and premium motherboards each brand have both of them.

Motherboard backplates seems to be the standard for higher end motherboards nowadays.

My Z690 Aorus Master is my first board that has this.
