Thermaltake Introduces the New TOUGHFAN 12/14 Pro Fan

Thermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Case, Power, Cooling, Gaming peripherals, and enthusiast Memory solutions, is pleased to launch the TOUGHFAN 12/14 Pro PC Cooling Fan, the high-end model of the TOUGHFAN series providing stronger airflow and static pressure. The TOUGHFAN Pro is equipped with specially engineered fan blades for unparalleled performance. In addition, this fan features a tight tip clearance design and an improved structure to decrease airflow leakage and strengthen overall air intake. The TOUGHFAN Pro is a premier component for high-performance applications such as your chassis, air and liquid cooling, and heavy-duty operations.

To achieve more superior cooling performance compared to the previous generation of TOUGHFANs, the TOUGHFAN Pro incorporates nine lengthened newly engineered fan blades, reaching a maximum speed up to 2000 RPM and delivering a great amount of airflow 70.8/119.6 CFM with 3.19/3.57 mm-H2O of static pressure. The material of fan blades are constructed with liquid crystal polymer (LCP), reducing vibration when spinning at full-speed and maintaining an outstandingly low noise signature. Additionally, the 0.6 mm extremely tight tip clearance (distance between the fan blade and the frame) of the TOUGHFAN Pro, a brand-new square fan frame design, and its beveled edge at the rear can minimize air leakage and enhance the overall cooling efficiency while installed in a chassis or on a radiator.
The advanced metal-reinforced motor of the TOUGHFAN Pro comes with a full steel motor hub and a newly designed full copper housing around the bearing, allowing you to unleash the fan's full potential and guarantee its stability and durability. On top of that, the 2nd generation hydraulic bearing features a new shaft design with inside etches to preserve lubricant on both sides, and this design not only can reduce noise during operation but can also extend the TOUGHFAN Pro's lifespan. Moreover, there are anti-vibration rubber pads at all corners with 80% coverage that can dampen the vibration allowing the fan to spin at higher levels without compromising noise levels. What's more, the TOUGHFAN Pro is backed by a 5-year product warranty being available all around the world.

The TOUGHFAN 12/14 Pro PC Cooling Fan comes with an upgraded blade design, optimized tight tip clearance, and brand-new structure, bringing its cooling capability and stability to the next level. With maximum airflow efficiency and minimized noise level, the TOUGHFAN Pro is an ideal choice for your dream build!

Features of the TOUGHFAN 12/14 Pro PC Cooling Fan:
New Engineered Fan Blade
The TOUGHFAN Pro, a new and improved version of the classic TOUGHFAN, boasts several enhancements. It features 9 extended and widened fan blades, which guarantee exceptional airflow and static pressure for enhanced cooling performance. Additionally, the fan blades are meticulously crafted from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), a material that effectively minimizes vibrations when operating at maximum speed.

Stronger than Ever
With new technology and craftsmanship, TOUGHFAN 12 Pro can provide an outstanding performance of 70.8 CFM airflow and 3.19-H2O static pressure under 22.6 dB-A noise level, as well as TOUGHFAN 14 Pro can deliver 119.6 CFM airflow and 3.57-H2O static pressure under 31.6 dB-A noise level, which greatly upgrades our TOUGHFAN series.

Improved Structure for Superior Performance
The TOUGHFAN Pro is designed with a square fan frame featuring a new outline that prevents air leakage effectively while installed on a chassis or radiator during operation.

Extreme-tight Tip Clearance
The TOUGHFAN Pro demonstrates outstanding craftsmanship, incorporating a special tight tip clearance of 0.6 mm that reduces airflow leakage and improves efficiency when working with heatsinks and radiators.

Optimized Metal-Reinforced Motor Hub
By improving the Motor Hub for TOUGHFAN Pro, we have upgraded its structure. As a result, the fan now features a full steel motor hub and a newly designed full copper housing around the bearing. This enhancement unleashes the fan's complete capabilities, ensuring unmatched stability and durability during operation.

The 2nd Generation Hydraulic Bearing
The 2nd generation hydraulic bearing incorporates a new shaft design with inside etches allowing preservation of lubricant on both sides whilst reducing noise during operation. Lowering audible levels and extending lifespan.

Built for Superior Cooling
The TOUGHFAN Pro is designed for all cooling applications. It's the perfect go-to solution, whether you're using it as a radiator fan or on an air cooler. Level up your cooling performance with the TOUGHFAN Pro for superior results.

Anti-Vibration Mounting System
The in-mold injection anti-vibration rubber pads dampen the vibration of the fan allowing the fan to spin at higher levels without compromising noise levels. The fan is designed with 80% coverage for all corners, maintaining low noise levels when in operation.

5-year Product Warranty
Thermaltake TOUGHFAN Pro PC Cooling fans are a top-performing, high-end product line that is backed by a 5-year worldwide product warranty.

And the inner part doesn't spin so the logo stays level! /s

btw, odd choice of cooler on that (expensive) board.

They have been using that cooler in a lot of product shots.

It looks rad admittedly. Too bad it doesn't perform that well nor have they bothered making a larger one.

But the real plus of it is because it looks premium without hiding the fans they want to showcase.

If anyone's curious, it's the Engine 17.

They also have a larger Engine 27.

But they do "up to" 35 and 70 W respectively (at not very pleasant fan noise).
