I have become a little lost with today's motherboard segmentation.

Can yall just go back to the Extreme and OC Formula series?
Extreme with a number afterwards was so much easier than meaningless names.

6 M.2 slots and yet no mention of a 10gbps ethernet port? What's the point? Why do I have to keep wasting PCIe slots on 10gb NICs?

They still have the Extreme series, but I miss the oc-formulas, which seem to be forgoten.
I'm guessing was a very small niche market.

I haven't seen an extreme board in ages. You sure about that?
They have one dual dimm slot board but it's for watercooling, called the Aqua or some crap and it was Z690.
The last OCF was Z590.
