Edit: I take it back, these new Bifrost cards just use the same heat-into-the-case cooling scheme every other graphics card uses.
It also doesn't matter how old a trademark is. Unlike copyright or patent law, the owner of a trademark has to actually use and defend it, or they risk losing it. That's also the reason why you can't register and stockpile phony trademarks like patents. In this case, either Sapphire or Acer would have had to sue the other company a long time ago, if the trademark was only the term "Nitro" or both companies would risk losing the respective trademark.
Also a friendly mail/letter does not have to include legal action.......but I still believe they send out some nice words. The rest remains to be seen.
