AMD to Bundle Unknown9 Awakening and Warhammer: Space Marine II with Processors and Graphics Cards
AMD announced the Q3-2024 edition of its "This is Why We Game" bundle. The company is bundling either "Unknown 9 Awakening," or "Warhammer 40000: Space Marine II," or both, with new purchases of select AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards across its add-in board (AIB) partner ecosystem, and AMD Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors. It is also available to notebooks powered by Ryzen 7000S and 7000HS series mobile processors. The bundle is open worldwide (except China and a few other countries). The Japanese edition of this bundle only covers certain higher-end models of Ryzen processors and Radeon RX graphics cards.

At least AMD is now aware of to name MS Windows operating system only in the game section.
Sadface... cant get a code anymore for my purchase of 1 week ago... :D
Damn it.
Is there any point mailing AMD for this?
Maybe its something retailer specific. I know newegg will regular run cashback or rebate schemes on all sorts of hardware but its their own thing not linked to the manufacturers.
SBI and BRIDGE have been spearheading movements that inject the new world religion ideology into everything we see today from woke corpo cringe, bizarro unigender character designs in games, overstepping their roles in writing game scripts/stories to the point of drowning out most other details and just inserting themselves in all of the places that they normally wouldn't be welcome because muh [social problem here] and representation with the promise of success.
We all know that's not how it works but a lot of corpos and even new companies out there can't stop sucking down the Jonestown juice.
It's along the same vein of extreme leftist politic that has hijacked language to further whatever agenda they see fit but more of a guilt+gaslight mafia tactic.
You'll know it when you see it. I'm staying out of AM5 a bit longer. If I need to upgrade, 5000 series is cheaper+faster, likely provides exactly what I need and I'm still graphic bound anyway. Is it time to seriously look at dealing with my RX 7000 series debacle? A good chunk of these cards seem way more fragile than others, have NO generational advantages over 6000 series for what I do and I'm on the fence about giving PowerColor a 3rd chance and just going Sapphire. It's been 8 months, the co has had my money and I still have no GPU. Wat do?
Could you be a bit more specific about the actual issues here?
I mean if you want to talk storytelling problems, man, those have sucked since the dawn of time and very few can bring something good to the table that actually ends good as well and not with a "it was all a dream" bs ending because they could not actually think up something to explain what was going on (which is what made it interesting to begin with) hell im not even a fan of lord of the rings and that is universally praised, SOMA was excellent though.
However, as I recall there were free games on offer from AMD when I bought my RyZen 9 7950X and later when I bought my RX 7800 XT.
One would think that the 9000 series will have a similar game bundle incentive if not exactly the same.
Waiting at this point just seems advantageous. Wait for 9000 series with free game or wait for 7000 series with free game and price cuts due to 9000 series release.
