Im most likely going to give ToL a go because its F2P but mainly because I want to see how much of a GW2 clone it is. It gives me a certain oldschool GW1 nostalgia and im hoping for more of a GW1 but on steroids than a GW2. I have never enjoyed GW2.

::EDIT::

Its also built with UE4 instead of the same engine that GW was built on. So its already a huge improvement right there.

Wanted to check Until Dawn on Steam, but:

Good work Sony. Now If only the people from my region had any dignity and stop purchasing your consoles after all...

I should've mention it's a P2W game of a worst kind. Pardon my laziness. It might save some time for a fellow forum members figuring out. Cheers.

It seems like there has been changed made. Sounds a bit like Diablo 3.

I watched a bit of shroud playing ToL last night and when I say a bit I mean like 5 minutes because they were talking about how it only takes a few hundred dollars to get fully speced out gear in the game as compared to the $250,000 USD he spent on lost arc. And that's when I left and lost complete interest in the game.

Throne and Liberty is developed by NCSoft, instant blacklist.
Early access MTX packs for a game already out in other regions? Blacklist.
Pay for power leveling pass and battle pass? Blacklist
Auction house? Blacklist
Three different main currencies? Believe it or not, blacklist

Its literally like early Diablo 3 in the regard of being able to use pay real money for buying items on the auction house
  • Lucent - Players can acquire Lucent by purchasing it with real-world money, earning it through specific PvP encounters (such as Castle Sieges and Tax Delivery Events), or by selling eligible items on the Auction House. Additional opportunities for acquiring Lucent may be added in the future.

I think in weeks like this one with a remake of a perfectly fine current gen compatible game there should be an option in the poll like "I'll play the original version and save money instead of buying the cash grab".

If they remade classics that are not available on modern platforms it would be one thing, but this is available in the PS4 so why bother. Sure release it on PC and recompile it for the PS5 with new gen improvements why not, but asking full price for it is nuts.

Seriously? I don't decide where the games are sold. I've also been told by management to include links to steam.
If you're not happy about it, you're free to ask for a refund of your monthly subscription fee to TPU.

I'm... torn, hear me out.

F2P Asian MMO... really?, another one?, it looks like a cashgrab mtx infested crack den, i mean graphic are good and all that but i don't see the need for ANOTHER F2P MMO, isn't the market absolutely saturated by now?.

Also, what's with that stupidity of releasing it in asia then 8+ months later rest of the world?
i've seen several MMO that have done this.

Let's move to others:
SAO... ¿why?, leave it as anime, don't make games based on a aniem that depicts a very futuristic mmo with neural connection in our "current" tech, it will never work out well.
horror.. lost me
survival open w.. lost me, that means "we're too lazy to write a campaign, here's a glorified SDK disguised as a game"
bullet storm type game.. nah

The Wizards game looks cool. I may also give Throne and Liberty a try, it looks interesting. I've been reading it's a bit pay to win, but I'm just trying to have a fun adventure, not win any competitions, so I'm not sure that'll bother me. The only thing I won't like is any requirements to farm or grind for stuff.

Dread Dawn looks interesting, but the reviews on Steam are absolutely terrible.
