This Week in Gaming (Week 5)

Time flies and we're already at the end of January and we have another packed week of new releases. This week's major release is already a couple of years old if you own a console, but it's only managed to swing its way onto PC now. This is followed by doing some engineering in space, going on an epic adventure to prevent the world from crumbling, some shape shifting action, being part of the French resistance and finally you can be the first sentient AI running a city. In addition to the games below, this week also brings: Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. and Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 / This week's major release / Thursday 30 January

Since apparently no-one was interested in giving any feedback, despite me even adding it to the poll, should I mention other new releases like this in the future, when there are some other titles that are close in terms of potential popularity as to the ones I post about?

Good idea, can we get them as links to Steam? Will also help guide the eye. Or maybe better to list them at the end of the post with multiple thumbs in one block?

You can't win with any list.....
How about making the video blocks smaller so that you can get 2 games per row and list as many as you feel are worth mentionaing?

Video embed sizes are fixed and depend on your screen size, so they look right on tablet and phone, too, and all other devices sizes

still missing the option for "none and none" haha :D

I think it's fine to mention smaller releases in passing on the text(specially rehashed ones like OMD++++) , there's only so much you can put into a weekly column without it being a doomscroll

Yeah, this wasn't meant to make the whole thing much longer, just to cover at most a handful of other titles, as there are some weeks when there are other games that are worth a mention, but not always.
