Please stop with flaming the news, this is the second post in a row I read from you that contains improper language and adds nothing of value to the thread.

It looks sweet, but I want specs and benchmarks dang it. I want to see if I screwed myself by buying the 2900 pro.

The 8800GT graphics card is PCIe 2.0 compliant and come with a core clk of 600MHz and memory will be at 1800MHz. Shader clk is expected to be running at 1.2GHZ (to be finalised). The memory width is at 256 bits. There will be two models, one with 256M and another at 512M. The card will replace the 8800GTS-320. This card supports SLI 2.0 which is able to run in a tri card SLI setup. It has DVI-I, TV out and Display Port (requires additional chipset). and Purevideo 2 support.

GeForce 8800GT has two available models. The first being a 256MB will be priced around USD 199 while the 512MB will be priced at USD 249.

wow looks like it'll run much cooler and use less power than the 8800gts. probbaly more friendly to the average consumer because of those reasons.

I think its going to have a few less shaders than the gts, also wasn't there news of the gts having a second revision where it gets a shader increase? so its going to be close to current 8800gts performance I think and cost less with a good possibility of more overclocking headroom since its going to have a die shrink.
