Wasnt the release date for crysis 16 November?? Have they cut 3 days off it?? Or is 16 November the EU release date?? Cant wait for this great game, will be nice to see how big of a difference there will be between the beta and the demo tomorrow!? Hopefully we´ll see some new drivers from Nvidia with this demo!?!? :)

It will be a bit before Nvidia/Ati tweak their drivers for this game... But you will most likely a pretty decent performance increase from the game alone over its beta.

That will run it fine mate.. no DX10 but it will still look pretty good. Maybe you could flog off the ol X1950 for a 2900pro??? :)

Any word on if the demo will be Vileplanet exclusive only as well or?

I'm hoping one of the devs over at Gamershell will start getting this uploaded minutes after it goes public, but where is it going public to?

Thanks! Although I'm thinking that my x2 4600 is prolly holding back that x1950xt a bit dont you? So a 2900pro would definitely be choked, no? Or were you thinking for DX10?:toast:

Urbklr911's Estimated Crysis Performance(based on my sources;))
DX9
x1600 or 7600= Low/Medium 1024x768
x1950/HD2600XT or 7900/8600= Medium 1280x1024
HD2900 or 8800=High 1680x1050
DX10 is just the very high level.....and will only really bring Crysis better shaders and lighting....which kill performance anyway...id say 2900's and 8800's will run all-maxed at 1280x1024....maybe....but we will see:)

Well "especially in dx10" wouldn't sound right at all, especially considering that is where the 2600's really take off...

I "gain" fps in dx10 over dx9 in Lost Planet.
