ROCCAT Introduces New Valo Gaming Keyboard

Aside from the Kone gaming mouse, ROCCAT is also introducing the Valo gaming keyboard. This keyboard features the traditional backlit keys found on most gaming keyboards and a LCD screen display over the number pad. The Valo has 2MB of onboard memory for storing macros, profiles, and over 420,000 commands and timings. Gamers who require a lot of macro buttons will also have access to 41 available macro keys as well as the external gaming mic. Like the Kone gaming mouse, the pricing of the Valo gaming keyboard is unknown as well.

I have to say that looks damn nice. Seems like Roccat is taking current logitech products and improving it both technically and visually.

I was originally going to, but I thought it might have been too many information and images for a single news post. If the mods or anyone think it should be combined then go ahead :)

i kinda like the keyboard, but i utterly hate the overly large "enter" key.... thats always a big turnoff for me. the function keys are in an interesting place... would be great for RTS's...

I don't really mind the large Enter key, but the tiny backspace key is a real turnoff IMO. I'll probably always miss and hit the key on its left :p

I tried looking at the keyboard layout. For a second, I thought it said "GWERTY".

Less function buttons than the G15's 54 total (18x3 compared to ROCCAT's 35) and a smaller LCD with even less resolution on a keyboard that probably won't have the same community as the G15.

Naturally, I would have to play with one before I made a final decision, but unless I'm missing something big here, it just seems like a story of "Too little, too late."
The only thing that could save this thing is the price. I don't see anything by ROCCAT on newegg. How much does this thing go for?

Great looking keyb, but has too many buttons for me and at least twice the price I'd be willing to pay.

Would be great TPU competition prices this and that mouse ;)

What are the dimensions of this keyboard? Is it a full size keyboard?

I hate those tiny keyboards that when you lay your fingers on the home row of keys that you thumbs are basically touching.

nice looking Keyboard, but thing is it doesnt look like a Gamers Keyboard where it has a separate keys section for gaming specifically.

Kind of looks like something Saitek makes. Or a combination of Saitek and G15.
