All Xbox 360 Prices Slashed on March 14th?
A number of industry sources have indicated that Microsoft is due to cut the price of all Xbox 360 SKUs in Europe. According to TechRadar backed up by numerous UK retailers, the price of every Xbox 360 SKU is to be slashed by as much as €50 on March 14th across Europe. If true, the Arcade Xbox 360 will retail for around GBP 150 in the UK - cheaper than Nintendo's Wii console - the Elite will sell below GBP 240 and the Premium at just under GBP 200. Microsoft of course declined to comment on the story before press time, as expected.

Main reason is due to the fact that they are still hard to find these days.
Why drop the price of a product if you cant keep it in stock anywhere?
Something different and innovative.
Plus, the games that Nintendo is publishing are pretty good like Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Sports, Zelda, etc.
Also, it helps a lot of people get out of their seats and move around a bit.
There are more good single player games than multi-player games for the Wii.
There are a lot of good games - I am obv. not mentioning them all.
Here is one for example : No More Heroes :)
I sure hope that there is indeed a prce drop in the US ax well soon. Seiing as How Microsoft has finally made a profit overall from the development costs of the xbox and xbox 360 etc. So now that their in the green they can start loosening their grip on the prices at least for the consoles. no word yet on Xbox LIVE but yeah you do get what you pay for imo at least but lets leave that part of the discussion alone please.

Nope, Tennessee has no minimum wage law. Therefore, our minimum wage has remained at $5.15 or $5.25.
Keep it on topic guys, otherwise it will just lead to arguments.
It was brought up that Europe pays 286 euros, which is actually like 586 US dollars. People in Europe always seem to bring this up but to me it seems like a false arguement because it's not like they have a minimum wage of 4 euros which would be equal to our minimum wage. Infact, they have minimum wage that is more accurate to what the systems are priced in Europe. Just because are dollar is horrible doesn't mean you guys are getting overcharged.
Essentially you could ship it in, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't they charge you more to have it shipped from US so that it equals what you would pay in europe?
Yes it indeed does look like we will be seeing a price reduction in the US very soon as well. (crosses fingers).
