ZOTAC Extends its Warranty to 5 Years

Hong Kong VGA and mainboard manufacturer ZOTAC recently informed that it has extended the warranty on all its graphics cards and motherboards from two to five years. All users who have purchased ZOTAC product, will need to register here 14 days after the purchase date. This will extend their warranty from 2 years up to 5 years (3 years in China). After the 2 years regular warranty, ZOTAC will directly offer the warranty to the customer.

well thats good news for the product owners, not only will they get more warranty time, but they can be ensured that zotac is still planning to be around to support the products in five years.

That is great for all those users. Hopefully this isn't like the Microsoft Xbox 360 3 year warranty extension (as in broken products, but you get "temporary replacements").
