Apple Patch Tuesday Fixes 93 Holes in Mac OS X

Apple released a massive set of patches on Tuesday afternoon fixing more than 90 vulnerabilities in almost every component of its operating systems. Apple's "Patch Tuesday" patches fix bugs in both the client and server editions of Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard. The Leopard bundle included fixes for AFP Client, Apache, Application Firewall, ClamAV, CUPS, macs, Help Viewer, Image Raw, Kerberos, mDNSResponder, OpenSSH, pax archive, PHP, Podcast Producer, Preview, Printing, System Configuration, UDF, Wiki Server and X11. The Tiger update fixes holes in AFP Client, AFT Server, Apache, AppKit, CFNEtwork, ClamAV, CoreFoundation, CoreServices, CUPS, curl, Emacs, file, Foundation, Help Viewer, Kerberos, libc, notifyd, OpenSSH, PHP, System Configuration and X11. blooming hell :eek: I can't remember the last time there was this many updates for an OS. not looking forward to turning my mac on tonight :mad:

Updates are a good thing, also good thing is no one used this holes to make a malware :) they fixed these holes before that...
I updated my mac with no problems...

yeah, a majority of those seem to ne "non apple" products like apache and stuff, but nonetheless, more fixes :)

I'm gonna have a lot of updating to do, my leopard install Is still straight off the DVD LOL!

It's about time they fixed emacs! My C++ teacher was adamant on using emacs on his Mac for presentations, and we would usually end up spending half the class or more waiting for him to fix it. :banghead: Thankfully I'm not a computer engineer anymore :laugh:

LOL! That guy pisses me off...I wish I had a radio show so I could complain about every name brand product I own on the air so the company will be forced to fix it for free.
