NVIDIA PhysX Beta Driver for GT200/G92/G96 Cards Leaked

A new NVIDIA beta driver leaked today over the web space, enabling full PhysX support for all GeForce 9800 GTX, GeForce 9800 GTX+, GeForce GTX 260, GeForce GTX 280 and GeForce 9500 GT graphics cards. The download link for this driver is provided by our collegues over at Expreview. Download NVIDIA PhysX 8.07.18 driver from here. Also note that this release is considered a beta, use with caution and at your own risk. One final line before I finish, release 8.07.18 is also reported to work with GeForce 9600 GT and 8600 GT cards although they are not listed in the supported list.

phanbueyNICE... right now the only way to tell is to run vatage and see if you have a 30K cpu score. Unless your UT3 has flying papers... that may be another way.
Papers?

I tried the Physx UT3 maps and I was getting kinda piddly FPS in the 20-40 range.

My CPU use was pretty high, 50-70% on each core.

So I dunno if its working.

Run vantage, if your cpu score is 25k+ physX is enabled, if not, then it's not.

Ah you reverted eh. Well, that's the most clear cut way to tell. I don't think the g80 is supported yet, but it may be, if you didn't get any gain in UT I'd say it's still speculative, anybody else w/ a g80 and vista can give this a whirl?

i'll be testing this on a G80 GTX very soon. The problem is that its unreliable 512K internet, so i'm having trouble getting the files...

is there anyway to test physx in UT3 without the map packs?

Anyone have a idea if this works with the 9800gx2. The gx2 does have 2 gen92 8800gts gpus on it so my guess would be yes.

We would need proof somehow though, with physX vs without physX I propose.

Ozz you could tell us if the 9600gt works, just run vantage w/ these. So far we've got the g80 workin and g92, so give it a go.
