The FirePro S7150 was an enthusiast-class professional graphics card by AMD, launched on February 1st, 2016. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Tonga graphics processor, in its Tonga XT GL variant, the card supports DirectX 12. The Tonga graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 366 mm² and 5,000 million transistors. It features 2048 shading units, 128 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 8 GB GDDR5 memory with the FirePro S7150, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 920 MHz, memory is running at 1250 MHz (5 Gbps effective). Being a single-slot card, the AMD FirePro S7150 draws power from 1x 6-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 150 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. FirePro S7150 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface. The card measures 241 mm in length, 111 mm in width, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 2399 US Dollars.
