The Radeon HD 7540D IGP was an entry-leveln integrated graphics solution by AMD, launched on October 2nd, 2012. Built on the 32 nm process, and based on the Scrapper graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 11.2. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon HD 8650D IGP, which uses the same GPU but has all 384 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon HD 7540D IGP to reach the product's target shader count. It features 192 shading units, 12 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 760 MHz. Its power draw is rated at 65 W maximum. Its price at launch was 67 US Dollars.
