Alseye Brings Massive Cooler Selection and a Few Interesting Cases to Computex 2024

Alseye, the Chinese maker of AIO/air coolers and PC cases, had an interesting display at Computex 2024. The company's main showcase was the massive AIO cooler selection with some exciting pump/CPU block combo designs. A star of the show is the company's i360 360 mm AIO water cooler in white. It features a real-time information display of CPU and GPU temps on its CPU block, which resembles the look of a car's turbocharger. With a pump speed of 3200 RPM and fan speeds of 800-1800 RPM with FDB bearings, the i360 should be a quiet implementation. It also comes in an i240 240 mm radiator version with support for AMD and Intel platforms.

Alphacool Intros DDCzero Product Family: AIOs, Reservoirs, and Pumps

At Computex 2024, Alphacool announced the launch of its new DDCzero product series. The star of the show is the new Core DDCzero PWM pump, developed in collaboration with Xylem. The Core DDCzero PWM pump is a compact powerhouse capable of driving a standard cooling loop comprising a GPU, CPU, and three radiators. Despite its diminutive size, this pump delivers outstanding flow performance while maintaining quietness and reliability. Complementing the Core DDCzero pump is the sleek Core Reservoir, featuring Alphacool's signature Core Design language and aRGB lighting. For those seeking a more simplified approach, Alphacool introduces the Core DDCzero Pumptop, an elegant solution that seamlessly integrates the new DDCzero pump into a compact package.

The Alphacool DDCzero family doesn't stop there. EK Releases Creator Kit for Nucleus AIO Personalization

EK, the renowned leader in computer cooling technology, is introducing the EK-Nucleus AIO Replacement Cover - Creator Kit, an optional replacement pump unit top for the EK Nucleus series AIO coolers that allows users to 3D print over the base and build their own unique AIO aesthetic. It replaces the stock top cover of the award-winning Nucleus AIOs available in 240 and 360 mm sizes, both of which come in black and white finishes.

In the Creator Kit box, users get a 3D-printed light guide with magnets, which is used as a platform for their 3D-printed creations. It is meant as a light diffuser, and the user gets to pick where it shines through by building specially designed extrudes of the 3D print. EK prepared a 3D model of the pump unit and a printed base, which can be remodeled and customized.

EK Launches New Brushed Aluminum Replacement Cover For EK-Nucleus AIO Coolers

EK, the renowned leader in computer cooling technology, is ready to launch the EK-Nucleus AIO Replacement Cover - Black Eclypse, a new replacement cover for the EK-Nucleus series AIO coolers made of black-anodized brushed aluminium. It replaces the stock top cover of the award-winning EK-Nucleus Series AIOs available in 240 and 360 mm sizes, both of which come in black and white finishes. This unique pump block cover features an LED circle with a minimalistic appearance thanks to its aluminium core. It allows you to re-orient the EK badge regardless of the direction in which the cooler is installed. The orientation can be changed in 90° increments, so if the cooler is installed upside down, the user can rotate it 180 degrees to display the logo right side up.

Regardless of the AIO's installation angle, it will always provide clean and aligned aesthetics, while the mounting process is easy thanks to the magnets located in each of the four corners. This same AIO cover is featured in the newly launched EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Direct Die D-RGB - 1700, the world's first-ever AIO CPU cooler expertly designed for direct die cooling.

ADATA Shows Prototype XPG HYBRID COOLER at CES 2024

ADATA has showcased a rather interesting XPG HYBRID COOLER at CES 2024 which actually integrates an AIO solution into the size of your standard air cooler, packing pump, loop, and a radiator into a single unit. The new cooler promises to be smaller and lighter than a standard AIO cooler but more efficient than an air cooler.

The new HYBRID COOLER is a patented dual-fan CPU cooler that can cool CPUs with TDP of up to 280 W. It will support both standard as well as Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO sockets, and uses two high-performance 120 mm VENTO PRO PWM fans by Nidec. The entire unit is slightly taller than a 120 mm fan and looks pretty neat, but unfortunately, it is still just a concept and ADATA did not have it running inside a system. Hopefully, we'll see it officially launched soon and to see how well it compares to standard AIOs and standard air coolers.

Lian Li Introduces Premium CPU Coolers Powered by Asetek's Most Advanced Liquid Cooling Technology to Date

Intel Core "Meteor Lake" Confirmed NOT Coming to Desktops, Only AIOs and Mini PCs

Intel's next generation Core "Meteor Lake" processor was confirmed by ComputerBase.de to not release on the desktop platform. The processor will not make it to a socketed desktop package such as the upcoming LGA1851. It will see a mobile-only (notebook and tablets only) launch, with select processor models based on the mobile BGA package being made available to PC OEMs to build all-in-one desktops and mini PCs as non-socketed processors.

The desktop platform presence of "Meteor Lake" has been surrounded by some controversy, owing mainly to its maximum CPU core count of 6P+16E, which is bound to fall short of the current 8P+16E, and AMD's 16P. A slide released by Intel added to the confusion, which indicated that "Meteor Lake" has a thermal range of 5 W to 125 W, with the latter being typically associated with the processor base power values of desktop Core K-series processors.

Lian Li Presents GALAHAD II TRINITY AIOs and UNI FANs

Lian Li also presented a new portfolio of liquid cooling all-in-one (AIO) solutions and new fans. Called the GALAHAD II TRINITY series, it includes three models: the GALAHAD II TRINITY, GALAHAD II TRINITY SL INF, and GALAHAD II TRINITY PERFORMANCE. The TRINITY series features three interchangeable caps for pump block personalization and 45-degree rotating fittings at the radiator for convenient tube positioning. The GALAHAD II TRINITY model is available in 240 and 360 sizes and comes equipped with pre-installed RGB fans with flawless cable connectivity. The GALAHAD II TRINITY SL-INF model, also available in 240 and 360 sizes, comes with pre-fitted UNI FAN SL INFINITY fans and a controller. Lastly, the GALAHAD PERFORMANCE model, available in a 360 size, features pre-installed 28 mm thick high-performance LCP fans with seamless cable integration, a 32 mm thick radiator with a unique double wave fin design, and a 4200RPM pump. It is set to launch in June.

In addition, there is a GALAHAD II LCD AIO. This 280/360 AIO features a 2.88" LCD screen at the top of the pump, with a display resolution of 480x480. Two aluminium caps, complete with edge-diffused LED lighting, adorn the pump's sides. The LCD supports MP4 files, customizable layers, and screen capturing, with the added capability of a split-screen function. With 2 GB of flash memory, it allows for MP4 uploading of up to three minutes in length.

Intel Gemini Lake Refresh Reaches End of Life

Intel has posted two product change notifications regarding the Gemini Lake Refresh, which is now reaching the end of its life. Launched in 2019 as a refresh to the original Gemini Lake, these low-end products had a longer lifespan than the original Gemini Lake (2017-2020). Most commonly found on low-end PCs, AIOs, and Mini PCs, these Gemini Lake Refresh CPUs were based on the 14 nm Goldmont Plus microarchitecture. Coming with up to four cores without HyperThreading, these CPUs were ideal for lower-power applications as their TDP was rated between 6-10 Watts.

Intel has separated the product change into two categories, with the first consisting of Celeron N4120, Celeron 4020, and Pentium Silver N5030, while the other features Celeron J4025, Pentium Silver J5040, Celeron N4020C, and Celeron J4125. Intel will ship the first group of CPUs by May 24, 2024, and the second by February 23, 2024. The last round of orders will go out by November 24, 2023, and August 25, 2023, respectively.

Alphacool Confirms that all its CPU Coolers are AMD Socket AM5 Compatible

Just in time for the launch of the new AMD processors in September 2022, we can announce that all CPU coolers and All-in-One solutions in the Alphacool product range are compatible with AMD's AM5 socket. The required mounting kit is included with all coolers and AIOs and enables the new Ryzen 7000 Series processors to be water-cooled with Alphacool products right from the start.

Alphacool Unveils Eisbaer LT240 & LT360 Aurora AIO CPU Coolers with Digital RGB

With the Eisbaer LT240 & LT360 Aurora, Alphacool today presents new CPU "All-in-One" solutions based on the previously so successful Eisbaer LT series. Compared to the classic Alphacool Eisbaer LT AIO, the cooler and pump unit as well as the fans of the new Aurora version are now fully equipped with digital RGB LEDs. With the included controller, extensive lighting effects can be set, which provide unique and noble illumination.

As with all Eisbaer AIOs, Alphacool again uses the NexXxoS radiator with cooling fins, pre-chambers and cooling channels made of copper as well as the robust TPV hoses with quick-release couplings from the ENTERPRISE Solutions series. With the help of the quick couplings, it is possible to integrate other common water cooling products such as GPU coolers into the loop. The flat pump housing allows the AIO to be installed even in the smallest spaces. Alphacool's Eiszyklon Aurora LUX PRO is used as the fan, the DC-LT pump is replaced by Alphacool's quieter and more powerful DC-LT2 pump.

All Eisblock XPX coolers are already compatible with the new socket LGA 1700 with the included mounting material. A corresponding new manual for all coolers of the Alphacool Eisblock XPX series will be available online when the socket is released. All Eisbaer CPU AIO water coolers are also compatible with Socket 1700 with the enclosed mounting kit.

DeepCool Intros Castle 360EX A-RGB AIO CPU Cooler

DeepCool today introduced the Castle 360EX A-RGB, its top all-in-one, liquid, CPU cooler. The company made a handful updates over older generations of Castle EX AIOs. To begin with, the cooler features a dual-chamber pump with 2,550 RPM top speed. Updates have been made to the coolant path in this pump-block. The cold-plate has also been updated, with 25% more copper microfins. The pump-block is capped off with a new ARGB LED-illuminated infinity-mirror ornament that shows off the latest company logo.

The pump-block is plumbed to a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator which features an ambient air-pressure normalization mechanism DeepCool calls Anti-Leak Tech-Inside. This is basically a rubber bladder that swells when the ambient air-pressure is higher than the loop, to minimize leaks caused due to the pressure differential. Each of the three included CF120 fans features hydraulic bearings, turns between 500 to 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 69.34 CFM of air-flow at 2.42 mm H₂O pressure, and max noise output of 30 dBA. The cooler is expected to be priced around $170.

Alphacool Announces Eisbaer Pro Aurora 240 and 360 AIO Liquid CPU Coolers

The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro represents a special variant in the Alphacool AIO range. The standard features of all Alphacool Eisbaer AIOs remain the same. These include the pure copper radiators, the ability to be able to expand the loop with the quick-release fastener and of course the nickel-plated copper cold plate. The new DC-LT 2 pump is used as the pump. This pump is already in use with the GPU AIO Eiswolf 2. A new pump shaft and improved electronics have made the pump even smoother.

The special feature of the Eisbaer Pro is the significantly larger cooler base which was specially developed for AMD Threadripper processors and Intel LGA 3647. However, the Eisbaer Pro also fits the current Ryzen socket AMD AM4. Due to the significantly larger cold plate, AMD Ryzen AM4 CPUs are cooled particularly well as all cores are definitely completely covered by cooling fins.
