Corsair Releases the Carbide SPEC-ALPHA Mid-Tower ATX Case

Sharkoon Announces the DG7000 Case for Demanding Gamers

The Sharkoon DG7000 ATX Midi Tower, designed specifically for gamers, impresses with its unique appearance and astounding functionality. In addition to the CPU cooler cutout, there are numerous other openings surrounding the mainboard for all required cables. For water cooling, the DG7000 offers the possibility of a 280 mm radiator, with a total height of 5.7 cm including fan, to be attached to the front of the case. A tower cooler up to a height of 17.5 cm can be installed. Maximum length for graphics cards is 38 cm; power supplies with a maximum length of 23 cm. Pre-installed dust filters protect the installed hardware from contamination. For cleaning, they can be easily removed and put back on. Another dust filter is also pre-installed on the top panel, which can be easily removed thanks to the magnetic fastener.

Cooltek Introduces the X5 Mid-tower Chassis

DeepCool Intros Wave Micro-ATX Case

DeepCool introduced the Wave mini-tower case, designed for micro-ATX and mini-ITX builds. The case is characterized by a wavy design that run along its front facade, including a door that conceals some drive bays. The case features a top-positioned PSU bay, and with its drive cages occupying the top and central portions, this frees up room at the bottom (the expansion slot area) for graphics cards as long as 33 cm. The case also offers room for CPU coolers as tall as 14.5 cm. The DeepCool Wave offers two 5.25-inch, one exposed and three concealed 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive bays. Ventilation includes a 120 mm front intake, a 90 mm rear exhaust, and a 90 mm side vent. Measuring 387 mm x 175 mm x 353.5 mm (LxWxH), the case weighs 3.2 kg, and is made of SECC steel and ABS plastic. DeepCool didn't announce pricing or availability info.

Jonsbo-Cooltek Announces the RM1 Chassis

With the RM1 we present a particular compact Mini Tower, which offers an unusual flexibility for the installation of hardware. Despite the minimalistic design, the RM1 offers enough space for ATX systems with dual VGA card support. If needed, a 5.25 inch drive can be installed, when using either a Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboard. The RM1 uses brushed aluminum and shines with its superb quality. By using materials of the highest quality the RM1 offers a superb and exquisite look. The deliberately kept simple design of the RM1 harmonizes perfectly with any environment.

Motherboards of up to 305 x 245 mm can be installed in the RM1. This allows not only the installation of Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX systems in the compact case, but also of full size ATX boards. Arguably the most beautiful case at the show, the MasterCase 5 was announced early last week, through a press-release, which came with rendered images that don't do justice to the real thing. MasterCase 5 is a highly customizable ATX full-tower by Cooler Master, which you can custom-order with any combination of drive-bays, front and top panels, in-built fans, side-panels, and more. Cooler Master shows us variants that can house a typical multi-GPU high-end gaming PC build with liquid cooling; and a multi-socket workstation build with a boat-load of drives, and an enterprise-grade PSU. The case itself may not be made of exotic materials, but the quality of construction is top of the line.

BitFenix Aegis Micro-ATX Pictured in Five Color Options

BitFenix unveiled its Aegis line of micro-ATX cases in five color options - black, white, red, blue, and yellow. The cases feature glossy-black front, with glossy plasticky sides and top. The color shades look much like the ones you'd find on a Lumia or an iPhone 5C. The case offers a spacious micro-ATX motherboard tray with five expansion slots (so you can use a dual-slot graphics card installed on the bottom-most slot of your motherboard); with room for CPU coolers as tall as 170 mm, and graphics cards as long as 380 mm.

Storage spaces include four each of 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drive bays, in detachable drive cages. Much like the Pandora ATX, it offers a 4-channel PWM fan-controller, with a 2.8-inch LCD display. Cooling includes three 120 mm front intakes (which convert to two 140 mm); and a similar vent cluster on the top; a 140 mm bottom intake, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. You can install 3x 120 mm or 2x 140 mm radiators on the front and top vents. 360 mm dust filters cover the front and top vents.

BitFenix Pandora ATX Case Detailed

BitFenix unveiled the Pandora ATX at Computex 2015. The case is a re-imagination of the original Pandora ITX case, launched last Computex, for the ATX form-factor. The Pandora ATX is scaled up in almost all ways to the original, and retains its styling. The case offers room for ATX and E-ATX motherboards, with eight expansion slot covers (so you can install a dual-slot graphics card on the bottom-most slot of your motherboard). There's room for CPU coolers as tall as 160 mm, graphics cards as long as 380 mm, and PSUs as long as 220 mm.

Storage spaces include two 3.5-inch, and three 2.5-inch internal drive bays. Cooling system is governed by a 4-channel PWM-based fan-controller, with a 2.8-inch TFT LCD display, giving you fan-speed and temperature readouts. Fan vents are aplenty, with two 140 mm (or three 120 mm) front intakes, two 140 mm (or three 120 mm) top exhausts; and a 120 mm rear exhaust. The front and top vents can each hold on to either a 3x 120 mm, or a 2x 140 mm radiator. Both these big vents have magnetic dust filters.

Corsair Announces Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition Case

Akasa Intros the Newton S Case for NUC

Akasa announced availability of its Newton S fanless case for Intel NUC system boards. Measuring 176.5 mm x 200 mm x 53.5 mm (WxDxH), the case is made of aluminium, its top and side panels double up as heatsink for the CPU. Eight kinds of NUC boards, including "NUC5i5MYBE," "NUC5i5MYHE," "NUC5i3MYBE," "NUC5i3MYHE," "NUC5i5RYH," "NUC5i5RYK," "NUC5i3RYH," and "NUC5i3RYK" are supported. In addition to cutouts for the various ports offered by its supported NUC boards, the Newton S offers two USB 3.0 front-panel ports (standard header), an RS-232 serial (COM) port, a 2.5-inch drive bay with room for 9.5 mm-thick drives, two antenna holes, and a Kensington lock slot.

XIGMATEK Intros Nebula C Case in Pink, Purple, Yellow, and Two Shades of Green

You know XIGMATEK pulled out its sunglasses, SPF, and flip-flops, when it launches its latest cube-shaped case, the Nebula C, in fab pink, purple, yellow, and two Summery shades of green (emerald and lime). Built with SECC steel frames, the Nebula-C is studded with glossy ABS panels, which appear to be the same material Apple and Nokia use on their colorful phones (albeit thicker). As with other Nebula-series cases, there's a signature orange cutout at the bottom-left.

The Nebula C is a cube-shaped mini-ITX chassis, with room for a standard-height mini-ITX build (up to 80 mm tall CPU cooler), two expansion slots holding room for a full-height graphics card (up to 230 mm long), one each of 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch internal drive bays, a standard-size ATX PSU, a 120 mm rear spinner, passive vents at the bottom, and USB 3.0 front-panel ports. Measuring 260 mm (L) x 260 mm (W) x 305 mm (H), the case weighs a little over 3.5 kg.

Mercury S8S Gets a Permanent Spot in CaseLabs' Lineup

Premium custom PC case maker CaseLabs announced that the limited-edition Mercury S8S is now a permanent addition to the company's lineup, with plans for a new production run. The case will start at US $389.99, with a boat-load of customization options. A successor and variant of the Mercury S8, the S8S is a cubical E-ATX / SSI-EEB case with a motherboard tray along the plane of the base, which acts as a partition for its three chambers.

Designed for liquid-cooling builds, the case features multiple locations where you can place 360 x 120 or 240 x 120 mm radiators, and a full-fledged liquid cooling loop for builds with 3-4 graphics cards and up to two CPU sockets. The case offers a great deal of flexibility, letting you convert space for liquid-cooling hardware into additional drive bays, to accommodate up to 18 3.5-inch hard drives, or up to 36 2.5-inch SSDs. Measuring 369 mm x 483 mm x 380 mm, the case dry-weighs 7.25 kg, and is made almost entirely of aluminium.
