Cooler Master Introduces the CM 690 PC Chassis

Cooler Master has just announced its latest creation - the CM 690 PC mid-tower chassis. Inside the new case, users can install up to seven 120mm fans and there's space for an additional 80x15 mm fan behind the motherboard tray to further enhance CPU cooling from the rear. The PSU is mounted in the bottom of the case to improve the stability and cooling and Cooler Master has fitted a top mounted 120mm fan to exhaust the hot air out of the case. The CM 690 also has holes for mounting a water cooling unit at the top of the case. The hard drives are mounted in removable racks with anti-vibration pads and shock migration bars. Cooler Master Introduces New Case Fans

Cooler Master introduced today its latest case fan series - the LED On/Off Fan, which allows you to independently shut down the LED lights while the fan keeps spinning. The Cooler Master LED On/Off Fan series support the standard 3-pin fan headers and, most importantly, adds an extra LED on/off connector, which attaches to the LED control panel. With an easy installation of the control panel in any free rear side slot on the chassis, PC users are able to turn on or shut off their LEDs manually whenever they want. One control panel is designed to connect and control up to 3 LED on/off fans. In addition the LED on/off fans also offer a silent cooling environment at 20 dBA, brighter 4 blue LEDs and full RoHS compliance. The Cooler Master LED On/Off Fan series are available now in 80mm & 120mm versions, with optional control panel bundles available as well.

Cooler Master Announces GeminII


As PC enthusiasts strive to push their computers further and further towards the limits, Cooler Master has announced quite a serious new heatsink. The GeminII is an enormous heatsink which will transfer heat produced by the CPU to two 120mm fans via aluminium fins and six copper heat pipes. The heatsink is compatible with X2, Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme processors, provided that you have room in your case - if it's as impressive as it looks it should perform quite nicely. This heatsink (labelled as a CPU and board cooler by Cooler Master) should be released during March.

Cooler Master 1000W PSU


Hexus.net has has some exclusive screenshots of Cooler Master's first 1000W power supply unit. Named RS-A00-EMBA 1000W, this PSU comes with modular design, six +12V rails and a max wattage of 1000W. The biggest thing to note in RS-A00-EMBA is the inclusion of two types of PCI-e connectors 4x 6pin connectors or 2x 8pin varient specially for NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX Series video cards.
