The display panel is of VA type with a refresh rate of up to 75 Hz and a typical response time of 4 ms. It has a brightness of 450 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 3000:1. It's also DisplayHDR 400 certified. Outside of the USB inputs, these displays have two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, with the USB-C ports on both models offering DP Alt mode, 10 Gbps data speeds and USB PD support up to 100 W. Both models have four downstream USB-A ports, one which supports fast charging and an additional USB-C downstream port that delivers up to 15 W of power. For those looking for a more sizable display, LG has just released the 49WQ95C-W, which is a curved 49-inch dual QHD Nano IPS based monitor with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It's part of LG's UltraWide series of monitors rather than its UltraGear series, but it should still be suitable for gaming, even though that isn't its primary target market. There's support for FreeSync Premium Pro and the display is also G-Sync compatible, although LG doesn't provide a refresh rate range, only the upper refresh rate of 144 Hz. The response time is 5 ms GtG. LG has also thrown in some of its more gamer focused features such as dynamic action sync which reduces input lag, black stabilizer and a crosshair function.

The 32:9 panel has a colour gamut that meets 98 percent of the DCI-P3 standard, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a typical brightness of 400 cd/m². The panel is DisplayHDR 400 certified and LG claims the 49WQ95C-W is factory colour calibrated. Connectivity consists of two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DP 1.4, as well as a USB Type-C port that also supports 90 W power delivery. For some odd reason, LG only added a USB 2.0 Type-B upstreams port, yet there are two USB Type-A 3.0 downstreams ports. The monitor also has a headphone jack, as well as a pair of 10 W speakers built in. The stand supports height adjustment, as well as tilt and swivel. LG didn't provide any official pricing.

Redmagic, a sub-brand of Nubia Technology and a company that is mainly known for its phones with a gaming focus, has announced its first PC accessories, namely two computer monitors, as well as a gaming keyboard and a gaming mouse. The most interesting product in the lineup is the high-end 27-inch display, as not only is it a 4K monitor with a fast IPS panel with a 160 Hz refresh rate, but it also sports Mini LED backlight with 1152 FALD zones. Redmagic claims the display delivers 99 percent of the sRGB, Adobe RGB and the DCI-P3 colour gamut, which seems a bit odd, as these values are usually never that close to each other. It's said to be DisplayHDR 1000 certified and using ultra-high frequency PWM backlight dimming, to reduce any kind of flicker from the backlight dimming.

More gaming specific features include the typical 1 ms response time, support for Freesync and G-Sync. The inputs consist of two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DP 1.4 and one USB-C port with 90 W USB-PD support. A version of the display comes with a mmWave add-on unit, for connecting mobile devices wirelessly to the display and Redmagic claims a mere 1.7 ms input lag using mmWave to connect to the display. The company didn't specify which standard that was being used, so it could be something proprietary that only works with its phones. Redmagic also announced a fairly typical 2560 x 1440 screen, although it too uses a fast IPS panel and has a refresh rate of 240 Hz, but it lacks the FALD and is only HDR 400 certified and lacks HDMI 2.1 inputs, whereas most of the remaining features remain somewhat similar. No pricing was announced and it's not clear if any of the products will be available outside of the PRC, where the products launch in September.
