505 Games Previews Wuchang: Fallen Feathers - Describes "Soulslike" Combat System

From the first moment you step into the brutal lands of Shu, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers makes one thing clear: survival isn't gifted, it's earned. Throughout your journey, you'll need to master an arsenal of weapons, spells, and abilities to overcome the harrowing challenges of this Soulslike action-RPG set in the waning years of the Ming dynasty. With the July 24 launch fast approaching, we're giving PlayStation players a closer look at some of the game's most defining tools of survival, power, and identity. We'll highlight just a few of the devastating weapons, arcane spells, and unique abilities you'll wield as you carve your legacy through ruin and revelation. These tools don't just shape your playstyle, they shape the legend of Wuchang herself.

A diverse arsenal of blades and brutality
Each weapon in Wuchang is tied to a piece of the game's world building, from sacred relics to myth-imbued prototypes. Every blade tells a story, and every strike leaves a mark. The Dragoncoil Lance, a Deluxe Edition spear, is a striking silver-white weapon featuring a traditional design. A coiled dragon motif wraps around the junction of the shaft and spearhead, symbolizing the wielder's courage and valor. Weapons in Wuchang each have their own unique skills, and with the Vortex Thrust skill for the Dragoncoil Lance, you can unleash shockwaves with devastating force, making it ideal for punishing multiple enemies at once.

To help players prepare, we've published details on the Siege X PC & console specs, and in this article, we're diving deep into accessibility. The Siege team has long had accessibility in their sights as a priority, as you'll see in our interview with User Experience Director Sébastien François. He describes the team's embrace of accessibility throughout the years, shares details on how they've been preparing for Siege X, and offers insights into their future. Read on to learn more.

What is the Siege team's goal or guiding philosophy when it comes to accessibility?
Sébastien François: Siege is a tactical competitive shooter with a strong esports scene, which presents its own set of challenges compared to a single-player game, but we do not want to compromise on accessibility. We want as many players as possible to be able to engage with our unique gameplay elements with comfort, so they can enjoy the full extent of what the Siege experience has to offer. This is an integral part of our design process, and an important focus for our ongoing efforts to improve the game season after season.

In Advance of F1 25's Launch, EA Recommends Latest Graphics Driver Updates

Hey racers, we know you're all excited to get your hands on the game this week—we can't wait to see what you think. In early testing, we have identified that the vast majority of game crashes on PC are resolved by making sure that graphics drivers are up-to-date. So that you have the best possible experience playing the game from lights-out, we recommend making sure this is the case before you load up F1 25 for the first time.

Yeston Reveals Radeon RX 9060 XT Game Ace 16 GB Model

Roughly a month ago, Yeston introduced its new generation Game Ace design along with a mysterious no. 207 mascot. The Chinese manufacturer is best known for creating bright and sparkly graphics cards, but a couple of darker products have emerged from their HQ. Their latest offering—finished in varying tones of pink, purple and black—was debuted with GeForce RTX 50-series hardware. At the start of this week, the 2025 Game Ace lineup welcomed a new member. Yeston's social media accounts introduced a custom Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB model: "the black and purple cyberpunk RX 9060 XT Game Ace launched today. Would he be your choice?" In a reply to a follower's question, a company rep confirmed that the better known Sakura and Sakura Atlantis backplate/shroud designs are currently reserved for higher-end Radeon RX 9070 XT and non-XT options (within the RDNA 4 family). Game Ace will probably not escape the confines of Navi 44 (XT) hardware.

Unsurprisingly, the Yeston Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Game Ace SKU exhibits only minor visual differences, when compared to its "Blackwell" GPU-based relatives. We are looking at a fairly typical triple-fan + three 6 mm heat pipes cooling solution. A single 8-pin power connector is visible in some of Yeston's promotional renders. According to ITHome's inspection of specifications: "the boost frequency and game frequency under standard mode (STD) are 3230 MHz and 2620 MHz respectively, and the VAR mode further overclocks to 3230 MHz and 2780 MHz." Despite claiming that their freshly unveiled Game Ace model has reached launch status, the AIB likely has to conform with official AMD decree. Team Red's board partners will be releasing Radeon RX 9060 XT cards on June 5.

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT PCB Design Spotted During Factory Tour

During a recent Gigabyte Nan-Ping factory tour, members of the media/press encountered trays of brand-new bare motherboards and graphics cards. HWCooling's Jan Olšan noticed the presence of a not-yet-launched RDNA 4 product. Fortunately, the manufacturer granted photo access (two examples are below). A full report outlined multiple products and production pipelines, but Olšan's scoop serves as a nice preview of things to come. We anticipate TechPowerUp's W1zzard de-shrouding of numerous custom Radeon RX 9060 XT designs, early on next month. Prior to the publication of comprehensive evaluations, HWCooling's article provided an early insight: "a wild Radeon RX 9060 XT appears…take note of the graphics card in the top-right corner of the first lot of PCBs—this is likely the first publicly shown PCB of the Radeon RX 9060 XT, which, technically speaking, may still be under NDA. So enjoy this privileged look at the exposed Navi 44 chip."

Olšan linked the factory specimen to a freshly revealed design: "the card will go on sale June 5, with reviews a day earlier. Its design matches AMD's official renderings, and its identity is further pointed at by the unusual three display connectors. This should be the PCB for the Gaming version of the card, or more specifically, the Gaming OC model with three fans. The cooler will significantly overhang the PCB, with a pass-through window under the last fan." Last week, the TechPowerUp team spent hands-on time with Gigabyte's premium Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC SKU. Prior to Computex 2025, product registration information pointed to the Taiwanese manufacturer readying Gaming OC 16 GB and 8 GB variants. Curiously, the company's RDNA 4 custom card portfolio is represented by a lone ultra-premium AORUS ELITE flagship option and various triple-fan Gaming OC models.

Preparing Windows for the Quantum Age: Microsoft Hardens Windows 11 Preview with New Encryption

To defend regular users from bad actors wielding quantum computing power like Majorana 1, Windows 11 Insider Preview now includes built-in support for post-quantum cryptography (PQC), giving developers and security teams early access to algorithms designed to withstand the capabilities of future quantum computers. Available in Canary Channel Build 27852 and above, this update integrates two new schemes, ML-KEM for key exchange and ML-DSA for digital signatures, directly into the Cryptography API: Next Generation (CNG) and certificate management functions. ML-KEM addresses the "harvest now, decrypt later" threat model, in which adversaries collect encrypted data today to decrypt it once quantum hardware has advanced. Microsoft offers three levels of ML-KEM security: a Level 1 option that produces 800-byte ciphertexts and a 32-byte shared secret; a Level 3 configuration with 1,184-byte ciphertexts and the same 32-byte secret; and a Level 5 tier that increases ciphertext size to 1,568 bytes while keeping the shared secret at 32 bytes. These parameter sets allow organizations to balance performance and protection according to their threat models and operational requirements.

F1 25's PC Feature Set Explored - VR Exclusive to this Platform

This Story is Yours. Leave your mark on the world of racing in F1 25, the official video game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. Below, you can find the PC features you can enjoy in F1 25. We have covered everything from the newly introduced path tracing to playing on the keyboard, steering wheel, or controller.

Real Time Path Tracing
Path tracing lets us cast light rays from every pixel in the camera view and simulate the light bouncing 3-4 times around the scene. Each bounce samples a surface, and the light moves to the next surface. This makes a cloud of color that we can use some advanced algorithms to resolve back into pixels from the lit 3D scene. Path tracing offers the most advanced simulation of light interactions. For example, there are hundreds of thousands of light sources in Bahrain. Simulating the type of real time shadow interaction, self-reflection, and color bounce you get with path tracing is far ahead of older techniques.

ADATA XPG's PYMCORE SFX PSU Series Debuts at Computex 2025 - Blessed by Jensen Huang

XPG's newly unveiled SFF-ready platform—carefully optimized for NVIDIA's omnipresent GeForce RTX 50-series—consists of several product ranges. Given the complicated nature of the manufacturer's various new item lineups, this article will concentrate on freshly unveiled power supplies units. At Computex 2025, ADATA's gaming division has keenly showed off its brand-new PYMCORE SFX PSU series. The company's ultra-compact designs are tailored for integration into VALOR AIR and MESH NANO cases—this synergistic combination is advertised as: "allowing longer GPUs to fit into SFF builds without compromising performance."

The XPG PYMCORE power supply series is fully up-to-date with modern standards—most notably, being ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant. A 1000 W Platinum 80+ certified flagship model offers 235% power excursion. 12V2x6 (600 W) connectors can be linked to compatible SFF-ready enthusiast-grade NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards (and a smattering of custom Radeon RX 9070 Series models). A flagship PYMCORE unit was closely inspected by a TechPowerUp staff member; they took note of three 12V2x6 outputs. One exhibited specimen was deemed very special; due to having been blessed by Jensen Huang's signature. In addition, XPG is readying 850 W and 750 W Gold-rated PYMCORE SKUs. All models are configured with 100% Japanese capacitors.

Zalman Unveils Wide Range of P-series Cases at Computex 2025

The TechPowerUp crew had trouble keeping up with the plethora of new "panoramic view" P-series cases being exhibited at Zalman's Computex booth. Starting with mid-range products; the South Korean brand has prepared various (up to microATX format) P30 and P30 DS2 color options. The latter is equipped with a fancy two-piece detachable glass section, and an integrated 9.1" LCD panel (4:1 ratio). The P30 family was designed with air flow and maximized ventilation in mind—paired with a minimal aesthetic. The P30 DS2 is bundled with three 120 mm ARGB fans, while its plain sibling is appropriately equipped with three non-ARGB units. Both can support up to 360 mm top-mounted AIOs.

ASUS ROG Teases Continued Refinement of Modular Hardware Concepts

Browse the list of bestselling PC cases on Amazon, and you'll see a pattern emerge very quickly. Today's PC builders aren't deciding whether they want a tempered glass side panel: they're deciding how many of these panels they want. Panoramic PC cases provide an undeniably gorgeous view of your internal PC hardware, so it's no wonder that they've soared in popularity. But that wide-open panorama does pose a problem for people who prefer a pristine PC. If you have a stray cable or wire in such a build, you'll notice it every time you sit down at your desk.

Already, we offer an ecosystem of BTF motherboards, PC cases, and graphics cards that help you tuck your PC's wires and cables out of sight. But we're interested in doing even more, and we're eager to present solutions that work with traditional PC hardware designs, not just BTF. Behind the scenes, we've been working on modular hardware concepts that cut down on cable clutter for two key components: chassis fans and AIO coolers. Visitors to our Computex 2025 booth will get to see this concept hardware in action, but perhaps a trip to Taipei isn't in the works for you this year. Let's take a closer look.

MediaTek CEO Anticipates Q4 2025 Taping-out of First 2 nm Chip Design

As previously promised, Dr. Rick Tsai took to the Computex 2025 stage earlier today. The MediaTek CEO's keynote speech included a teaser for next-gen. Currently, the fabless chip design firm's best offerings are manufactured at TSMC foundries—utilizing 3 nm node processes. According to inside track knowledge, the forthcoming Dimensity 9500 mobile chipset will be based on "N3P." During today's important presentation, Tsai announced his company's next major leap—with "2 nm silicon innovation." According to a presentation slide, a tape-out phase is anticipated by this September. Industry experts reckon that a futuristic flagship—perhaps "Dimensity 9600"—SoC will benefit from this generational jump. Finalized products could arrive around late 2026; with MediaTek reportedly being on TSMC's 2 nm (N2) mass production order books. Officially, MediaTek's shift from 3 nm into 2 nm is expected to improve chip performance—with an estimated 15% uplift—while reducing power consumption (by ~25%).

CoolerMaster MasterFrame 600 Series Updated with Vertical & Reverse GPU Mounts

Just before Christmas 2024, CoolerMaster revealed its innovative MasterFrame case series. Weeks later, TechPowerUp inspected pre-launch interlocking aluminium panel-equipped specimens at CES. So far, Cooler Master's marketing material has emphasized the importance of customization. At this week's Computex trade show, the manufacturer has presented various MasterFrame 600 configurations—enabled by non-standard GPU mounting techniques, and multiple front panel options.

Two "Vertical GPU Mode" demonstration units aptly showcased interesting graphics card placements. Cooler Master seems intent on presenting its custom VGA cooler across multiple tables and every turn—their MasterFrame 600 builds were togged up with custom GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards. A "Reverse Mode" example showed off another non-traditional internal layout.

Sapphire Teases "Radeon RX 9060 XT" Lineup - Placeholders On Display at Computex

Earlier today, the Sapphire Japan social media account shared an intriguing teaser photo. As expected, the Hong Kong-based manufacturer has (representative) feet on the ground in Taipei, Taiwan. Currently, their Computex booth's main purpose is to show off already launched custom AMD RDNA 4 products—namely Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 cards. According to Team Red's official schedule, new items will be debuted on-stage tomorrow—insiders believe that the oft-leaked Radeon RX 9060 XT model will be unveiled by Jack Huynh, and board partners.

The Japanese Sapphire office commented on pre-game conditions: "I received a very interesting image from the site. Um...It says something like "tomorrow, the 21st, from 12:01pm (1:01pm in Japan?)" I wonder what it could be." Their photo upload shows five placeholder placards; two with longer profiles—suggesting triple-fan configurations. The three other options seem to be dual-fan in nature. Printed material outlines an imminent "21 May, 12:01 PM" reveal. Despite fairly strict conditions, other AIBs have already presented designs (online). Yesterday, industry watchers noticed Acer's previewing of a Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16 GB SKU. Given the total number of "temporary" wall-mounted items on display, Sapphire could be readying various mid-range (PURE) and budget (PULSE) models.

Acer Previews Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16 GB SKU, Ahead of AMD's Computex Showcase

Acer's dedicated Computex 2025 preview landing page mostly concentrates on brand-new AI PC products, but eagle-eyed observers have noticed the inclusion of an NDA-busting item. The manufacturer's web marketing team has inadvertently unveiled their forthcoming Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16 GB model; days in advance of AMD's official unveiling (May 21). Over a week ago, momomo_us shared a screenshot of an unnamed retailer's listing of not-yet-official Acer Nitro 16 GB and 8 GB SKUs. The keen tech industry watcher followed up with today's discovery; complete with a promotional render.

As expected, the Taiwanese brand has prepared a new dual-fan design—borrowing elements from semi-recently revealed Radeon RX 9070 Series cards. Despite rumors of leveraging lesser hardware—probably a "Navi 44 XT" GPU—Acer's pre-launch hype material has outlined an ambitious resolution target: "enjoy stunning 8K visuals and use AI tools to craft your next masterpiece based on RDNA 4 architecture." Acer acts as a board partner for Team Red and Team Blue—surprisingly, the firm's pre-game teaser does not outline an upcoming Intel Xe2 "Battlemage" desktop product line. Instead, a fresh-ish Nitro Arc "Alchemist" A380 LP 6 GB model was placed next to the aforementioned Radeon RX 9060 XT card. So far—during day zero booth inspections—the TechPowerUp has not stumbled upon any physical examples of cheaper RDNA 4 options.

Thermaltake Shows Off TR300 & TR200 Cases at Computex 2025

Over a month ago, TechPowerUp published a review of the Thermaltake TR100 compact dual-chamber ITX chassis. Darksaber was seriously impressed by his Hydrangea Blue variant; thus the resultant "Editor's Choice" and "Great Value" badges of honor. Prior to the receiving of a lone sample evaluation sample, TPU staff members inspected demonstration units on two separate occasions. At last year's Computex trade event, and then at CES 2025. At launch, four colors were made available: Black, Snow (aka white), Matcha Green, and Hydrangea Blue. During the setup of this year's booth, the Thermaltake crew granted early access to members of the press. Upon arrival, TechPowerUp's photographer spotted an intriguing "Gravel Sand" TR100 model. This colorway/finish is a familiar sight, as sported by various readily available "The Tower" and "View" models.

The company's TR100 product page mentions two other color options: Bubble Pink and Mint Strawberry. At the time of writing, their Gravel Sand sibling is not listed. Brand-new taller TR300 and TR200 cases were sat to the left of the original 18.4-liter small form factor (SFF) design. The former seems to be approaching mid-tower elevation; likely voluminous enough to accommodate larger components. An optional front panel piece—sporting Scandi-esque wooden slats—was placed nearby; implying a swappable configuration. Thermaltake's "in-the-middle" TR200 SKUs could be tall enough to accept microATX format motherboards. A snow-white demonstration unit was prepped and running an installed 3.9-inch LCD Screen Kit (also present on the TR300 demo unit)—currently available as an extra attachment for the TR100 series.

ASUS ROG Harpe II Ace Gaming Mouse Debuted at Computex 2025

Prior to official kick-off day, the TechPowerUp team was kindly invited to have a sneak peek around the ASUS booth. Brand-new Republic of Gamers (ROG) Harpe II Ace gaming mice were on full view (with black or white livery), sitting atop second-gen Sheath XXL mouse pads. The original ROG Harpe design was released over two years ago; as an Ace Aim Lab Edition. Last year, two spin-offs were introduced last summer: Harpe Ace Extreme and Harpe Ace Mini. ROG's freshest offering appears to utilize familiar internal components; most notably the cutting-edge AimPoint Pro optical sensor—very likely derived from Pixart's flagship PAW3950 model. Other mainstays include ROG's Optical Micro Switches (rated up to 100 million clicks) and SpeedNova 8K wireless system.

The ROG Harpe II Ace is built with a special and innovative bio-based nylon material, that contributes very little weight. A product placard advertises a total unit weight of 49 grams; only 2 g lighter than the ultra-premium Harpe Ace Extreme model. This $249.99 (MSRP) option features a fully CNC-machined carbon fiber top shell. The company has collaborated with Max "Demon1" Mazanov and other esport champions; thus refining the right-hand ambidextrous Harpe design for a new generation. Instead of using three or four skates, the Harpe II Ace is outfitted with two large chunks of rounded-edge pure PTFE. Gear Link—a web-based platform—grants access to hardware configuration; a massive plus point. TechPowerUp's pzogel has often directed criticism at the manufacturer's Armoury Crate software suite. A "lighter" and "less intrusive" package—called Armoury Crate Gear—was pushed out in recent times, but gaming mouse purists (largely) remain unconvinced.

Xiaomi CEO Teases Proprietary "XRING 01" Mobile SoC - Remembers Previous In-house Efforts

Yesterday, Lei Jun—the CEO of Xiaomi—finally introduced his firm's proprietary XRING 01 mobile chipset, via a couple of Weibo posts. In an initial afternoon short blog entry, the executive informed his followers with a happy unveiling: "I would like to share with you a piece of news: Xiaomi's self-developed and designed mobile phone SoC chip, named XRING 01, will be released in late May. Thank you for your support!" About a month ago, the company's oft-rumored return to in-house chip efforts was linked to a major corporate offshoot. The speculated "chip platform department" was likely established a while ago, given early May reports of the division's staff headcount exceeding 1000+. At the time, an "Xring" codename was mentioned by industry tipsters (in China).

In a follow-up "Weibo Text" bulletin, Xiaomi's head honcho recalled older project timelines and technological attempts: "even drinking ice for ten years can't cool your blood! Xiaomi's journey to making chips began in September 2014. Time flies, and more than ten years have passed in the blink of an eye...Figures 2 and 3 are photos of Xiaomi's first chip launch conference in February 2017." Jun's did not provide any hints about the XRING 01 chip's underpinnings. Late 2024 leaks alluded to a reportedly troubled prototype—insiders connected this design to fairly new Arm Cortex architecture, and a TSMC 4 nm "N4P" node process. The vast majority of Xiaomi's modern flagship smartphone devices utilize top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. For example, the brand's latest Xiaomi Ultra 15 model is powered by the ubiquitous Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 4) platform.
