A Closer Look
The ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D40 sticks have a red and black aesthetic before they are plugged in, with a large protrusion up top where a clear plastic strip resides.
I love the simple XPG logo in the middle of the stick, along with the matching logo emblazoned in red across the plastic light strip in the middle of the top.
One end of a side of the sticks does get a product label sticker that lists the stick's vital details, but the other side goes with a clear and simple presentation with very little labeling or the like on it, which has it make a bold statement on its own.
I always take a look at the end of memory sticks to see if their PCBs have any marking that might relay any interesting bits of information about the sticks themselves.
I didn't find much of any interest here, but I did notice that these sticks seem to use Hynix ICs.
