Fan Control and Options

Fan speed is controlled by temperature, actual minimums dependent on fan ability.



Let's just get to the point here. The ASRock Z370 Taichi has a total of five fan headers, but you can only control them from within the BIOS because there is no software for it from within the OS.


Fortunately, there is a tuning option so that you can tune each port according to the fan that is plugged into it, but do make sure you take a moment to enable things like pump support for the two headers that offer that if you have your AIO pump plugged into them. If you don't tell the board that it's a pump, there do not seem to be any issues, but I did notice that choosing the right setting led to a slightly more consistent RPM with my CRYORIG A80.
