Installation

First things first, when it comes to installing the ML360R RGB, you will want to prepare the backplate and the pump. For LGA115x systems, place the backplate screws in the slots on the plastic backplate. Then, use the plastic clips to secure the screws in place. For the pump, slide the brackets into the slot on the side and secure them with the included screws. Once the pump and backplate are ready, I found installing the radiator first makes the installation a tiny bit easier.

Next, position the backplate on the motherboard and slide the plastic spacers over the screws around the socket. With the backplate in position, apply some thermal paste in preparation for mounting the pump.

Slide the pump down on to the backplate screws and secure it to the socket with the included nuts. With the pump secure, you can change the orientation of the pump's top plate so the Cooler Master logo is oriented properly. With the pump secured, you can now also attach the fans and hook everything up.

The MasterLiquid ML360R RGB from Cooler Master is relatively easy to install on its own, but the RGB controller, on the other hand, is a bit of a mess of wires. While this isn't a huge problem, the limited documentation in the box is not that helpful. Users will definitely want to checkthe product page for better guides on how to properly set up everything if it is their first-time build or they never dealt with an RGB cooler before.

Overall, I would rate the installation a 7 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). Overall, the install went relatively quickly and painlessly with only the mess of wires and lack of documentation being the main problems. Having spoken with Cooler Master, they are looking to improve on these issues in the near future to make installation easier for their customers.
