Since there is no embedded lumbar support, two cushions are provided for the neck and lumbar regions. Both cushions are filled with memory foam. The neck cushion is small and soft, but given we aren't very tall, its placement was rather uncomfortable. The lumbar-support cushion, on the other hand, is really big, covering the chair's entire lumbar region. We found this cushion to be rather spongy, and it felt like velvet.

Usage Experience

Since there are more than three people in our office, we sought to make them all use and assess this chair. This time around, though, we ran into a slight problem; the first person to use this chair put on his name tag and kept it! He enjoyed its fluffy seat and stable caster wheels. Both support cushions became his favorites. The density of the cold-molded foam, soft PU upholstery, and elastic bands seem to make for a very comfortable combination indeed. That same person found the armrests to be really smooth; his arms slid along them nicely. He also liked the color combination and described it as neutral.

While seated, we did not notice any grease on the PU upholstery, neither from our body or our head. Should something be spilled on the upholstery, it is in most cases easily wiped off.
