The fan-speed profile doesn't have enough operating steps at high operating temperatures.
Noise and Fan Speed (~30 °C)
The fan-speed profile is not aggressive under normal operating temperatures, resulting in low to average noise output. Given the compact dimensions of the PCB and increased power output, I wouldn't recommend an even more relaxed fan-speed profile.
