Value and Conclusion

  • The Lian Li PC-A70 sells for around $210 USD.
  • Quality
  • Size - Lots of room to work with
  • Hard Drive cages have a anti-vibration system
  • Very clean, simplistic design
  • Six quiet 120mm fans
  • Finish marks easily
  • No external 3.5" bays
  • CPU cooler incompatibility with GFX support bracket
Like all of Lian Li's cases, the first thing I noticed is the build quality, I consider their cases the Ferrari's of computer cases. The PC-A70 is a solid built case with no sharp edges or loose parts. Then biggest issue I found with the case is the finish on it. All of the cases from Lian Li I have reviewed have had the same problem of the finish scratching easily and taking finger prints really bad. Other than the finish, there's not much to complain about with the case. I could say the case is too big, but if you're looking for a server case or a very large one, there's no way you're going to say it's too big. The case doesn't have any external 3.5" drive bays which for some might be a issue. The GFX support bracket didn't fit with the CPU cooler I choose, but at the same time Lian Li made it easy to remove the bracket if so needed. The fans that come in the case are very quiet in their operation which surprised me because there are six of them. Overall I'm very pleased with the Lian Li PC-A70 full sized tower.
