Even more of a boost for Crysis Warhead on SLI setups? I'm pretty sure somewhere between 191.xx and 195.xx I already got a massive boost in Crysis Warhead on my SLI. If this is another 30% on top of that, then that is pretty amazing.

Quote from a blizzard admin:

We're getting reports where users are getting intermittent low FPS after installing these drivers. It seems that it is related to the fan control included in these drivers not working correctly and is causing the video card to overheat on 3D applications. This will affect Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 Beta. Please uninstall the drivers and revert back to the older ones.

Pretty big fail on nvidia there. here's the article: starcraft.incgamers.com/blog/comments/nvidia-19675-drivers-starcraft-ii-beta-rip-pc-graphic-cards

^^ again bugged fan control? Wasn't it the same thing end of last year peole coming here saying the drivers killed their card?

Not that I'm scared, Accelero does fine on the 40% too. Though the fan settings are in the bios and based on the core temp. So is it drivers reporting GPU temp wrong or some other family of cards.

edit: sorry for the big font, but this is pretty important
Don't use these drivers on G92 cards!

Most like all with that single slot stock cooling that run the card very hot to begin with. But seems to be a real issue. Have to test what these do with my card later.

Drivers now pulled from NVIDIA website. Latest is 196.21.

Tested my card, fan speeds up ok, though I have custom fan settings. Other than G92 cards having issues as well, but 9800GT cards are the ones mostly dead.

I have actually noticed some slight artifacting with WOW and res Evil 5, even with a fan profile :( going to go back to older drivers and see how I fare, shame as my games were all running smooth.
