OCZ Technology to Extend Enterprise SSD Reach at the Flash Memory Summit 2010

OCZ Technology Group, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance solid-state drives (SSDs) and memory modules for computing devices and systems, will showcase the Company's leading-edge SSD solutions at the 2010 Flash Memory Summit in booth #415 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA August 17-19. OCZ's commitment to advancing flash technology for enterprise and commercial applications makes the Flash Summit is the ideal space to demonstrate cutting edge technology and solutions.

OCZ will demonstrate the breakthrough HSDL (High Speed Data Link) interface and accompanying IBIS 3.5" HSDL SSD, which was developed to revolutionize data transfer rates and bandwidth and take SSD storage technology to the next level. HSDL eliminates the SATA bottleneck and is ideal for a wide range of enterprise applications including high performance computing, servers and cloud computing solutions. Likewise, the RevoDrive PCI-Express SSD will be entered in the "Best of Show" awards as the highest performing bootable PCI-E drive at its price point on the market.

Summit Chairman Tom Coughlin, President of Coughlin Associates, comments on the conference: "Flash memory continues to enable a huge array of applications such as embedded and mobile products, consumer storage cards, and solid state drives (SSDs). In 2010, the usual seasonal decline in demand for flash memory did not occur. Flash is now being used in many applications besides the consumer products (such as iPads, iPods, mobile phones, and digital cameras) that are often given as Christmas presents. Supply is having a hard time keeping up with demand for this extremely useful storage technology. More than ever before system designers and integrators, storage devices makers, press and analysts and end users need to find out about the latest developments, uses and issues uncovered for this small, low-cost, rugged, long-lasting, high speed storage technology. The 2010 Flash Memory Summit is where you can hear leading experts address a wide range of flash memory technology topics."

"OCZ is committed to the continued innovation and development of flash solid state drives for both the enterprise and consumer markets," said Ryan Petersen, CEO of the OCZ Technology Group. "The upcoming Flash Memory Summit is the ideal platform for us to demonstrate our latest cutting edge solutions including ultra fast new interfaces or high performing yet affordable bootable PCI-E SSDs, as well as engage with new clients and partners."

OCZ's Intrepid, Deneva, and Z-Drive SSDs address a wide range of applications from high performance computing to top-tier data management. In a class of their own, Deneva SSDs raise the bar in performance, delivering up to 50,000 IOPS and a staggering 285MB/s of bandwidth, enabling greater productivity than ever before. The Deneva Family not only delivers industry-leading price to performance ratios, but provides world-class reliability features including superior power loss protection, endurance, encryption, and ECC protection in a wide variety of interfaces.

All OCZ SSD solutions help overcome the performance, durability, and maintenance obstacles inherent to traditional mechanical HDD storage. In addition to the superior design, reliability, and speed, OCZ's ability to provide a custom solution ensures ultimate compatibility, reliability and cost savings that other SSD lines cannot deliver. Join OCZ Technology Group at Booth #415 as the Company aims to increase the advantages of SSDs over traditional hard disc drives for OEMs, enterprise clients, and enthusiast consumers who place a premium on performance, reliability, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
