RejZoRTrust me ppl, i know what i'm doing, it's the program thats totally broken.
It shares the same bad design as RivaTuner. Half of the stuff could be done miles better but developer feels like he knows it better... Only good thing about it is that it works with AMD and NVIDIA stuff. When it comes to doing things right, ATiTool and ATi Tray Tools were so much better, too bad they aren't developed as actively (or not at all).
So its broken? Wonder how I am able to save 2D and 3D profiles for myself on both cards with all 5 slots working.

I think you may have a conflicting utility, should get that checked out.

Not 2D and 3D profiles. Try saving one profile with Fixed fan rpm at 30% and one with your own curve. From what i've seen it doesn't care what you set, it only changes clocks but fan settings, like you haven't changed anything. Same problem on boot even when using just 1 profile. I've set it to be at 30% fixed, saved it to profile and set it to set the stuff on boot. System boots and the RPM is at 41% even though i set it to 30%. Then i select the profile and load it manually and the RPM went down to 30%. And i'd sort of understand if i'd have some other card, but i have a MSI card that should officially be fully supported in all aspects.
And for 2D/3D switching you have to run stupid monitor server that adds another (ugly) icon to the trey. Why? Can't they make it one and the same thing!? I've already mentioned this on Guru3D ages ago and they told me to buzz off because they are the all knowing gods. And because of that we have this rubbish buggy crap. If i'm honest, EVGA Precision is imo better and works better, only bad thing is that it only works with NV cards.

Afterburner is by far the best overclock/monitoring/capture tool available, in fact perhaps the only one that has all those in one package.

There's some issues with CF oc profiles, at least for me it doesn't seem to apply the OC properly, only OC's cores but leaves memory etc. For some reason it applies the settings when under load from kombustor, but not at idle voltages. Also the fan settings seem a bit wonky.

Sure, and RivaTuner is better than both only bad thing is discontinued. :D
Man you're not forced to use any of these. If you don't like them (or you don't know how to set up them) try to wrote your own non-buggy crap software. I know you have the skills, just do it. :D

MSI Afterburner's always worked great for me, having profiles set up for stock and different levels of overclocks, fan profiles, etc. In this case RejZoR, as the saying goes, PEBKAC...

Just because it works fine for you and the majority of users doesn't mean there aren't major problems with the program. I use Afterburner because there's no single program that can do everything it does. I've had problems with it applying overclocking profiles on two different computers, both of which were ATI Crossfire setups. On the second computer I had it on which had 2x 6950's, I also had some issues with fan profiles applying properly. RejZoR, is absolutely correct and anyone questioning him has just had good fortune using the program. I use Afterburner with my current Geforce 480 powered rig and don't have any problems at all.

I've been waiting for the newer version, the last one I had didn't agree with one of Windows 7's semi-recent patches, and most games wouldn't launch with it. Well, I hope that's fixed coz I like that lil' program.

It's a free program, be glad it works for most of us out here. If you had to pay for it, then the 10% of people having issues have a valid reason to complain.

Crying has nothing to do with intelligence, if you care to continue this I am available via PM.

As for my actions, they were and still are on point!

Guys stop your bitching, if you have the new Battlefield 3 beta drivers you might have some problems using this version of afterburner.

And to anyone have general problems applying profiles and what not, LOOK IN THE SETTINGS TAB!
