Yes, because you'll need to justify that +1500€ build with something more than low price-performance ratio, a few VMs and a housefire :p

Yes, I'm disgruntled Portugal is not included in the list...

No United Kingdom :(

Not that im gonna be upgrading to this platform anyway but it would still be nice to be included as they already have most of the neighbouring EU countries

Gigabyte usually have a separate page for offers when they apply to the UK because it uses Pounds rather than Euros - probably the case here, would just need to find the UK page?

Edit: Found it -> gaming.gigabyte.eu/Intelmotherboard/SteamX299_UK.aspx

Hard to believe anyone would fall for Intel's trap and buy x299, even with free games, but I know some will.

You are essentially getting about a 15% discount.
It's just that instead of getting the discount in cold hard cash, you're getting »free« Steam Credits.

F*ing joke really, and it shows they are desperate.

Why don't they fix it, to justify the price. OR even better yet release more CPUS

Quite nice, could be a deciding factor when someone chooses to purchase an x299 motherboard.

I'm leaning towards the 7820X as I'm not really happy with Ryzen's single threaded performance.

You shouldn't be looking at Ryzen, this is directed towards Threadripper. Oh and threadripper has 64 PCI lanes and all TR CPUs have quad channel memory support.

Same here and Exactly! Trouble with cash back is that sometimes it just isn't worth the effort and they are hoping you won't claim it. Just reduce the price and allow the buyer to spend his saving how he wants, where he wants!
