Hitman Episode 2: Sapienza Free Until April 3

IO Interactive just released the Hitman Spring Pack on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Players can redeem it for free starting from today until April 3. The Hitman Spring Pack includes the Sapienza location, which is basically Episode 2 of the six-episode saga. Apart from the story mission, players will also get access to the prequel, which includes two story missions, and other features. If you decide to purchase the full game later on, your progress will carry over without hiccups. PC owners can add the Hitman Spring Pack to their Steam library over at the game's Steam page. If you already own Episode 1 from the December giveaway, you might run into some problems when trying to redeem Episode 2. In that case, you can go to SteamDB and click the Free button to add Episode 2 to your Steam library.

Is this stand-alone? Or do you need an earlier Hitman aswell?

Each mission is stand alone.

cucker tarlsonNice.
Does it run better in dx11 or dx12 ?
AMD definitely runs better under DX12, Nvidia was a better under DX11 at last blush.

Ferrum MasterCannot get it. Does it really work already?
Not likely. Last time there was a free Hitman I don't think it was ever available, I gave up trying.

Got it to work. You have to have the game installed and just log into steam on the computer that has Hitman installed. go to steamdb and just hit download. That worked for me. It did not work when i attempted to use steam on my laptop(which does not have hitman installed on it).

Did not have any problems with the installation. However, I find the game incredibly boring, like any Hitman game. Change shirt and pants, go forward, change shirt and pants again, oh wait, those pants are not allowed here, go find other pants. People in the building have seen the same bald guy with a tattoo on the back of the head in seven differet uniforms, well, nothing to see there...... The cook has seen me literally pick up rat poison and drop it into the pasta sauce, took it with a smile on his face, did not even wink.

The challenges you can get for playing different scenarios are the only entertainment in this tedious game.

Increase the difficulty, and that bald guy really does start to stand out EVEN in the correct uniforms; also, I'll challenge you to try the last mission 'just changing pants'... This is a slooow game really, with many, many different ways to complete a mission. Some are obvious, but the fun (to me at least) is finding the less obvious ways.
