Battle Royale Mode Fans, Beware: Battlefield V's Firestorm Won't Be Available Until March 2019
A few weeks ago we learned that Battlefield V would have a battle royale mode called "Firestorm". PUBG and Fornite have made this game mode so popular that several games have tried to take advantage of this feature, and the latest title from EA and DICE won't be an exception. The problem is, that option won't be available at launch, and users will have to wait until March 2019 to enjoy this game feature. The roadmap for additional content has shown how Battlefield V will evolve in the next few months.
This gaming mode has been developed by Criterion Games in partnership with DICE, and 64 players in 16 squads will fight to be the last infantry squad. Before being able to play that mode users will be able to access other DLC such as "The Last Tiger" War Story, "Panzerstorm" (a new tank-focused map) and a new Practice Range mode. Between January and March we will see new content and co-operative modes such as "Combined Arms", and after that "Firestorm" and its Battle Royale mechanics will arrive. General availability for Battlefield V will start on November 20th.

They already delayed the game for a month and one of the features/game modes they were promoting so viciously during the early days wont be part of the game until 2019 when the next battlefield title is only months away??
Its no better than Nvidia selling you a graphics card with features for use with something that doesn't exist. (Ray Tracing, DLSS...)
People are dumb if they pre-order something on a 'premise', Statement or 'Promise' that its going to feature or have this or that....
A fool and his money are soon parted. Glad im not buying this game.
That being said, I don't get what EA's doing here. The way they're staggering the single player/multiplayer/BR content just seems dumb. I know they got rid of Premium but people didn't really have a problem with the way Premium content was rolled out before, it was the price. All they had to do was release content in the same way but without the Premium price tag and everything would have been fine. But this segregating of content? It's a mess.
after the abomination that was the BF V beta
Dev are truly becoming lazy, imagination-less and plain ol' crappy...
Next Civilization XXMCL Zombie and Battleroyale mod! Looking forward for Starcraft 2... oh wait...
Now because i feel i can not play a fair fps game anymore i lost interest.
It really is sooo sad that game developers don't get it. Seams they all think the cheaters will spare them so they initially don't put in real anti cheat then the cheaters take over the game and f**k it up.
Do they really think i want to pay for a game just to have it be over run by cheaters. No i stop playing BF1 and won't buy BFV, it is a waste of money.
To put it in perspective for the game developers they should ask them self if they would waste money on playing lotto if there where cheaters taking all the winnings.
