NVIDIA Formally Announces GeForce RTX 2080 Ti "Cyberpunk 2077 Edition"

NVIDIA today announced the end-result of their teaser form earlier: the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti "Cyberpunk 2077 Edition", a limited, 200-unit edition of their highest-performing RTX 2080 Ti graphics card designed in collaboration with CD Projekt Red. The 200-unit edition will have 77 of its number being offered in sweepstakes by NVIDIA, with some of the remaining 133 units being available for good, old money, set at a pricing of $1,100.

The card features a gaudy yellow styling that is much in line with the color palette CD Projekt has been putting out for the game. The shroud is made of AL5052 aluminium (an alloy enriched with chromium and magnesium). The sweepstakes will be running from today, February 17th, through to February 28th. I don't know about you, but I think that's a beautiful-looking card. Watch a teaser video after the break, as well as NVIDIA's details regarding the sweepstakes.
You can win one of the 77 cards through NVIDIA #RTXon sweepstakes, the rules are:
  • Head to our GeForce Twitter, Instagram or Facebook pages, and retweet, like or comment on our #RTXOn sweepstakes posts

They had a Titan X Pascal Starwar edition. They really should have done a Titan RTX Turing Cyberpunk edition instead of the 2080Ti.

I honestly really hoped for a 16Gbps version under the sleek hood but didn't even get that

Better wait for the RTX 3080 (Ti), the game is delayed anyway.

It looks nice enough and it's good you can win one but... was hoping for something a little more 'special'. I'd hope the game comes with it?

Looks good, but otherwise "meh" - plain old 2080ti.

I don't get the point of game branded cards. I saw a CoD themed Jeep at a dealer once and I wanted to point and laugh at it for half an hour. I do like the general look/color scheme of this though, assuming I had a matching case to use it with.

Edit: My bad for not reading, it's a giveaway not a thing they're selling a lot of.

That's some serious marketing they are getting for not a lot of money if you consider how many people are going to be tagging their friends and pushing that hashtag...

Good luck to all those who enter.

Those Jeeps sell. Those Jeeps are also very limited. Those Jeeps sell themselves. I too think the COD Jeep is stupid but I've seen people driving them here in Chicago, along with other custom/modified Jeeps. Mancaris in Oak Lawn, Illinois is always moving these custom Jeeps and they're overpriced.

at first glance reminds me of MSI lightning edition cards.

I like it for the color, only to realize it really shows how drab so many video cards are now. Bright, vibrant designs of the 2000s and 2010s are a breath of fresh air from all the greyscale and red cards we get today.

All Jeeps are overpriced now. Nearly $30,000 (base model Wrangler) for a vehicle line that used to go for $15,000 to $28,000. Yes, they still can off-road pretty well, but even then prices of everything went up dramatically since the early 2000s. Same thing happened to the Dodge Challenger, from $30k for the top of the line (SRT-8 with the 392) and now $50k for the same model (with a slightly upgraded 392 due to MDS, its not even DCT), not the Hellcat series.

It's a bit too late to purchase a 2080 Ti unless you can get it for $900 (brand new) or less. The paint on this one does look really nice though.

Nothing special about the card, what only makes worth to be in news is the winning thing.
Won't even try though, as it is highly suspicious that Nvidia would give something for free or make a fair competition/offer or what ever.

Can't believe they actually fell for it. At least 7 months until release and they're pushing this? That card will be 2 year old once the game comes out.

Thanks for noticing American greatness. We probably didn't notice because in American math it's 200-77=123 unlike Australian math.

Looks nice, but a nice looking card isn't for me. My case doesn't let me showboat my computer's hardware. I just want something that can sit in the corner or under the desk so I can play games.

If I were to enter - which I won't since it appears to be based on social media entries - it would be a shame to hide a purdy little card like that in my case.
