Limited Edition Cyberpunk 2077 NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti Sells at Auction for $5200

NVIDIA announced the limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 RTX 2080 Ti card in february with a limited run of just 200 cards, 133 of which were available to purchase at a price of $1,100 with the other 77 getting raffled off. Some of those cards are now finding their way onto eBay both new and used where they have been selling for up to $6,000, over five times the MSRP for a 2080 Ti. If you've got a burning desire to own one of these cards and a few thousand dollars spare you can pick one up at auction here where the price is currently $4,250.

Update Apr 9th: The auction has concluded and the card has been sold for $5,200 USD with 40 bids.

I mean I understand why it's expensive, since it is rare, but um, at least NVIDIA should have called it the RTX 2077 (Ti or no Ti), wouldv'e been the perfect name for it.

If you asked me if they put a better cooler or custom water cooling it would be fine, but just repainted FE edition don't make it appealing.

Yeah other than branding this really doesn't carry any of the appeal of the old limited run cards. This is reminiscent of the EVGA GTX 295 Red, it's just some paint and a fancy backplate.

I had a brain fart when I first saw the card and thought it was covered with a yellow water block.

Eh, I like the design, but 4000 dollars, just wow

I would say this is just a collector's edition card, just like the Titan Xp Star Wars cards

What can I say, Nvidia and CDPR, two companies and brands people can't get enough of.

If I'd won one, I wouldn't even use it. That's a collector's edition, dammit. :)

If it's on Ebay, I'm surprised it's not $50 with $5,950 Postage.

Collectors item for the rarity.

However 4 times the money for a GPU that is only a Founder's Edition with a yellow paint job and CP2077 logo printed on it... nah.

I think if you buy an FE 2080Ti and get a custom paint job of your liking from a talented artist might go for cheaper then this, and you would on the 1 out 1 of that ever made.

Heck and you could have the logo changed to RTX 2077 after all for good measure

And after the purchase, the holder will find that it has no satisfactory cooling and will have to replace it with liquid cooling. It will cost ,only 350 $.
Yes The real title is Cyberpunk ! If you understand me. Commercial kitsch has been selling well lately.

With next gen cards right around the corner, you have to be a special kind of sheep to buy this card for this amount of money.

RTX 2077 Ti would be a hella cool name for this. Just like Intel released an i7-8086K.

I'd rather have the dark side edition... Star Wars will always have a place... How long until Cyberpunk hits the Cyberbin?

Smexy card. You have to have this kind of pampering. It's a very very expected title launch, so there has to be some bling around it...a bit of lounge events, cosplay, fan art, merchandise, may be even some inspired clothing as it was with Deus Ex. Ohh the art book will be a killer probably. I never got my hands on Homeworld Remastered artbook and it looks fantastic by the look of it.
