Following Re-listing on PSN, Cyberpunk 2077 Quickly Finds Itself the Top Seller

Ah, Cyberpunk 2077. The gift that keeps on giving, and the gift which will probably give the most around one-year after launch, when developer CD Projekt Red manages to fix the underlying issues and build upon features that were supposed to be there - but weren't. Following the launch debacle and subsequent removal from the PlayStation Store - which led to a severe-yet-not-crushing profit decline for the company - Cyberpunk 2077 has quickly found itself as the top selling game on PlayStation's digital storefront - a mere month after its reintroduction in version 1.22.

The game essentially climbed towards the top seller spot for the last month of June in both the US and Europe - despite having to fight its way through seasonal heavy-hitters such as FIFA 21, NBA 2K21, and the still incredibly-selling Grand Theft Auto V. And it did so with only half the days left throughout the month. With the game having been given a constant - and extremely needed - attention from CD Projekt Red via updates, and a next-gen update on the horizon (which is free to last-gen version owners, by the way), Cyberpunk 2077 could further cement itself in CD Projekt Red's portfolio - and more importantly, in gamers' minds. We collective gamers will be the judges of that.

Sad news. Game is still a technical mess, but if people keep buying games like that, they will keep releasing games like that.

They wanted to be the next Rockstar Games. They failed, but it is good to have dreams.

not surprised one bit, those that can look past minor flaws of a game will enjoy it.

What's the deal with GTAIV ? Guess thousands got banned for online cheating and they buy back for more?? Don't have a good explanation for this, but that game is really a money milking machine. Unbelievable.

i have some hours in it ... no huge technical issues, aside the initial "tree bug", the only cons i had was about the "filler npc" which were dumbs as a sack of potatoes ... hehehe (and the cops)
most minor issues were cleared with patches and thanks to modding i made some aspect i did not like (slippery driving and a few others) better...

the greatest point in the game was the main and side story, lot and lot of good things the sheer amount of side content was redeeming (and i bought the game at a discounted price, thanks GoG for my birthday gift, so i got it 2 day after day one launch ahah!) and also the 3 prologues were good albeit leading to the same point.

although the console debacle about it, hum ... well ... " if it already had issues running on PC Console will be an apocalypse" as a friend said ... errrr ... i guess PS5 and XB1SX were just bellow the 6600K 16gb 1070 8gb @1620p/60 i was using then ....
"it should have been a PC exclusive for a few years and then go consoles, ahah, payback for H:ZD!"

now i am waiting on what they will do for further improvement
