CORSAIR and Ubisoft Partner to Deliver Immersive PC Gaming Experience to Far Cry 6

CORSAIR, a world leader in high-performance gear for gamers, is delighted to announce the continuation of its partnership with leading video game publisher Ubisoft, bringing immersive in-game RGB lighting integration for all CORSAIR iCUE RGB devices to the latest installment of the popular Far Cry franchise: Far Cry 6. Players can experience exclusive dynamic lighting effects that convey the action not just through the screen, but across their entire iCUE setup as well.

Far Cry 6 welcomes you to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. Far Cry 6 immerses players into the adrenaline-filled world of a modern-day guerrilla revolution. As dictator of Yara, Antón Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Playing as local Yaran Dani Rojas, join revolutionary group Libertad and fight your way to Esperanza to take down Antón Castillo and his oppressive regime.
PC players will be able to experience Far Cry 6's action beyond the screen through their CORSAIR iCUE software-compatible components and peripherals. Whether you're exploring the island, caught in an explosion, or liberating an outpost, your entire iCUE ecosystem will light up reflecting in-game events in real time.

"We're thrilled to continue our partnership with Ubisoft, bringing greater immersion to the highly anticipated Far Cry 6," said Lauren Premo, Director of Gaming Marketing at CORSAIR. "The iCUE integration for previous games, including Far Cry 5, was a big hit with PC gamers and we're excited to go even bigger and better with Far Cry 6."

"We believe that CORSAIR iCUE's synchronized lighting takes in-game immersion to the next level,'' said Chris Early, Vice President of Partnerships and Revenue at Ubisoft. "We're happy to work with CORSAIR to provide PC gamers with an iCUE game integration that will allow them to fully experience the journey of a guerrilla fighter in Yara."

The Far Cry 6 iCUE game integration will be available October 7th, alongside the launch of the game. To celebrate the partnership with Ubisoft, CORSAIR will bundle digital copies of Far Cry 6 with purchases of eligible CORSAIR iCUE-compatible products from the CORSAIR webstore (NA and EMEA territories only, while supplies last), as well as host a giveaway for the chance to win a custom PC inspired by the in-game Furioso Jetpack item, and more. Additionally, a custom Far Cry 6 profile icon pack for Elgato Stream Deck, enabling the use of macro shortcuts in-game from your Stream Deck, is also available as a free download from the Stream Deck Store.

Ah yes. Everybody loves Ubisoft. Even the executives (both current and former) that they are protecting due to current controversies.

Bravo Corsair

I like how they're acting like this is a whole new thing no one has ever seen before. Programs like SignalRGB do the same thing but work with a variety of hardware and support a lot more games for free.

Yeah programs like farcry 5 did too, noice that's two games that will make my case dance.
But seriously, like last time I tried it, it sort of bugged out then my Corsair commander died ,not related but don't use their 3M sticky fixer(shit that thing broke the commander, not me and oaf rage) it's intense, it's never coming off.

To be fair it doesn't dance, that's just me, I actually found it soothing except 3 of my fans just shrugged and stayed the same as ever, they were connected too,I went big on Corsair, inconsistent.

Would make for a good Skittles commercial: "Eat the rainbow! Crap the rainbow!"
I like rgb, but it would be too much for me having it changing constantly to coincide with a game being played. It tends to be distracting when compared to static rgb lighting.

If you want something that is easier to use, philips hue is the way to go. Expensive though.
Otherwise lightpack has some good stuff

Though the best price ratio is probably importing random stuff from aliexpress or the like. A bit harder to find the good stuff since they come and go frequently. Check reddit for updated recommendations.

rgbtwist is pretty much in the middle. Basically already some of those cheaper imported kits, but at least provided with some measure of support. Still, miles cheaper than a hue product.

Since I'm not seeing any white people in this game, I'm guessing this comment is more about your personal insecurities about race. There's a lot of historical context for it. Our white ancestors have been doing other people wrong since the beginning of time.

Aww, man! I'm out.

I don't want to get the ban hammer. I still have many more fights to pick before I do get it. :D

Yeah, eventually at some point I'm going to get a kit from Philips for ambient lighting. Its expensive, but you have a lot of control/options, plus it will give me peace of mind knowing I won't be buying some cheap/unreliable Chinese rip-off brand that might burn the house down.

So don't pick fights. Pick your nose instead. It works for me. I even have a small booger bucket to flick them into and keep a box of tissues nearby for when I have to go deep. Some find it gross, but its my nose I suppose.

They have had this feature in FarCry 5, New Dawn, and the newer WatchDogs games come to mind. Of course they are keeping it going with 6, since no one really complained about it. It's nice since it actually has gameplay functionality built into it, like your keyboard changing color during combat or when you take damage/die.

It's a commentary on how many western made games feature mostly white villans, with an ethnically diverse group of "good guy" stereotypes saving the day like clockwork. Political commentary about how whites are somehow responsible for all the bad is optional but increasingly common.

This right here is what he was talking about. You proved his point. Every ancestor has doen wrong by everyone else since the beginning of time. Not sure why you want to single out whites, after all it was fellow blacks that enslaves blacks in africa to sell into the slave trade, asians that massacred other asians for well over a millenia, native americans regularly scalped, enslaved, and destroyed other tribes, ece. Every race, color, creed, what have you has commited attrocities throughout history, yet only those affecting certian people/by certian people ever seem to get referenced......
